Great score!👏👍
It sure would be awesome if someone made a homebrew Super Pro Beamrider or Beamrider 2 with different objects coming at you in the new version, and a grid with more rows.
Something like that.🤔
I think instead of a flat grid, they should make it into a different shape for each level 😝

Thanks I am still waiting as well. I'm definitely anxious to get it, but since I've been waiting 35 years ish for a better controller for the intellivision I can probably wait another month or two

I think you pressed button 3 thinking it was Level 3, but button 3 is Level 1 as notated by the green numbering.... The RED numbering is Level 3...... This score is therefore actually 36....
Ah yes, I indeed pushed 3 on this game! Sorry for the error, I was deceived!
No wonder I did so much worse on level 4.-

36 at level 3. 2 Subs remaining
36 X 3 = 108

Ooof - This score is really important because you finished between me and Wolfy. Means he will gain 4 points on me instead of 2 in the overall standings.
Any chance you can squeeze in another game real quick and beat his score? LOL (not LOL)
Lol, I was really trying for that last 1K points to beat wolfy's score.. I'm pretty sure 7 minutes isn't quite enough time!
I think the game and I have agreed to disagree about where the bitey part of a shark is though-

Just checked and last season was only 77,000, so it's a new personal best for me!

I still think this game was ahead of it's time and doesn't get enough credit.. still holds up well in my opinion. It's got basically RTS and space combat sim components in 1982. Too bad I'm not actually very good at it.. lol Especially the combat I can't hit the broad side of a tie

I've played many golf games over the years, but I have 0 minutes playing this one. I've also never even once put this cartridge into any Intellivision I've ever owned. I may have to get a copy of the cart out and play the real thing for this round. If I don't play it now, when will I ever?
I am in the same boat. I have never so much as seen this game played on the intv before. Can't be as bad as my real life Golf game.

Wolfy Player One and Lupo have a great matchup here! Rick marking new strides… I’ll hit this one up on the weekend. It gets pretty intense (similar to Beauty and the Beast) you can’t just give it a go while you have a few moments. They’re very stressful games!
Golf on the other hand, you gotta just relax, grab a martini and play the front 9. It’s more about the experience than the score!
If you drink too much can you accidentally get your golf cart stuck? This is an important part of golf for me

Barger Time: Drive your Harley over varied rows of hippies, protesters and draft dodgers to drop them down to the bottom, dodging cops and picking up narcotics and cash to temporarily incapacitate the cops (if you can get them fast enough)

Tron for .82 cents
in Intellivision / Aquarius
Posted
Not sure when this was, but at one point (in early 1990s I believe) our local video game store was selling intellivision games
complete/sealed: 1$ (CAN)
loose: 25 cents
regardless of title, but they never had anything that wasn't pretty common that I saw
I remember we got deadly discs sealed for 1$ there.. even though we already had it just because we thought it was a steal
