  1. Had another quick chance to try. This game is way more fun than I thought it would be. Too bad I gotta go camping now! 1989
  2. Only time to squeeze a few quick games in this time, better than nothing! 1671
  3. Tommy wasn't a good face of the company for sure. He comes across as a used car salesman or an infomercial most of the time. I just felt he crossed the line into scamming when they clearly knew internally the project was years away from even a chance of release and worked to hide it from everyone and viciously attacked anyone pointing to evidence of it
  4. Words are just semantics, it's the message that matters. No matter what words he picked, what he's saying is clear, he's claiming he is not going to use consumer's money to fund development. He specifically switches from "not going to ask anyone any consumer for their money" because he was willing to take investment (in any form I'd say). Preorder money went again this somewhat, but I'd lean toward this was honest optimism at this point and he didn't start lying and scamming until the delays started and they clearly knew they had major problems and were nowhere near putting anything out but kept taking people's money, pretended no major trouble, release was just around the corner and viciously attacked anyone who claimed major delays or problems.
  5. Washing out with soap doesn't last long enough.. In Canada we do it right
  6. I think we've all whined down on AA on occasion! I do most of mine in the HSC
  7. BUT.... Tommy changed my mind. I don't think it's a fair take; you don't need to have a fake product to be scamming. I'm convinced at this point Tommy not just ignorant and was lying through his teeth to try to get people to give money and support his "vision" and using deception to get people's money and support is a scam. What he wanted to do with the money, whether he still paid people, still intended to make or release "something", was convinced it was "for the greater good", whatever he told himself to excuse it blah blah who cares. Excusing that crap is why we can't have nice things
  8. Teleglitch is one of my favorites. It does not really feel like any particular old game, Actually I feel like it's one of the few games that manages to do a classic/modern fusion really well It's a twin stick shooter with stealth, need to conserve ammo, crafting, roguelike levels, dynamic lighting, permadeath and it's hard as hell
  9. The concept of swearing is just prejudice against the vernacular used by "bad / undesirable" people.. More like it's bad there is nothing else to the video, the "review" is just an excuse.. it's like he just learned to swear and the only reason for the video is to show off his new skill
  10. I'm looking forward to the steamdeck myself, hopefully I'm not a fool throwing my lot into yet *another* long preorder
  11. Number 5 I don't think will/can happen. My understanding is all assets get sold before the company can dissolve.. They can go to auction if no one buys them but it seems like a company insider can also buy them at "the going market rate" without even making them available first which may be what happens since the going market rate for such things may be... malleable? cough.. tommy.. I believe hypothetically if no would take them whatsoever, even as a throw away bundled in with other assets, then it would end up like abandonware where the official owner is can't be determined or contacted, so no one can legally use anything until they expire, but no one gets sued for illegally using them either.. But that wouldn't happen since there is no downside to taking them
  12. I can't decide between 1. holding your childhood intellivision ransom? 2. settled out of court for the tasteful nudes being included with your releases? 3. has pics of you in compromising situation with cmart's collection?
  13. The INTV 2 with the red racing stripe is the nicest looking one!
  14. not quite correct as stated, although this may have been what you meant, the system changer itself only allows Atari games to be played on the stock INTV II. The link lists the INTV models that do not work with the system changer, and the instructions for how to mod those models so they can.
  15. I'm glad I got mine last year and I maintain it was a good idea back when they were giving refunds, but I wouldn't try for one now. If you ask for a refund now the only way you will get it is if they recover enough to release the thing, so you really have nothing to gain, and a small chance to lose out if they get their shit together and release something
  16. It's an attempt at a shoulder button and then decided it was too much grief to implement and just threw a cap on it
  17. I always find people's views on the controllers interesting since I always judge how good a controller would be by how well it would play deadly discs, which in my opinion must be played dual fisted, and what most people seem to think would be awesome fails miserably
  18. I would also like to get in for at least 2 of these.
  19. Sorry I posted before I was ready and wouldn't let me edit. As soon as I heard the music it reminded my of Battle Kid. The game looks awesome, although I'm a bit worried that my thumbs will revolt if I try to play this on an intv controller
