Since no one has replied to Goochman, I though I'd chime in that I'm having the exact same problem. I'm got a brand-new eMachines 2.4 Mhz machine with 512 MB RAM, SoundBlaster Audigy, and WinXP. I get the same error with PCAE (latest version), but all other emulators seem to work fine. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks! Scott

Hi everyone! I'm new to these boards so please, play nice and don't chew with your mouth open. :-) At any rate, I've just bought a new computer, and I'd like to relive some old memories via Atari emulation. For those of you who've been involved in the emulation scene for awhile and know the quirks/problems/features of the various emulators, which emulators do you think are the best for each of these systems: Atari 2600, Atari 800, Atari 5200, Atari 7800? If it helps, here are the specs for my machine: Windows XP 2.4 Ghz 512 MB RAM SoundBlaster Audigy I plan on trying out most of the emulators anyway, but I wanted to hear from the people who probably know better than anyone else which emulators are the best.
