  1. Hi Lars, You are amongst the few to start developping home-brews for Jaguar years and years ago and Jagworm was one the first games my son played on Jaguar. It is always cool to hear that you are developing for the Jaguar. Now for Halmock furball, my children don't like the idea that a guinea pig is fighting for life and eventually will die by drowning... They didn't appreciate much an another game for Jaguar which consists of crushing ants... From my point of view, I like the cartoon style and the character but the action is too repetitive to play more than few minutes and the music is too present. Far from discouraging you, I would like to encourage you to continue to develop for Jaguar. What a pity for example that all the work done for Eerrivale never achieved to a new game. That would be sad to give up developing for Jaguar as nowadays there are more tools and technologies than anytime before (Raptor, Sound Engine...)
  2. The Lynx version was so addictive It is cool to see it onJag and with 2 players mode!!!

    Wyvern Tales

I gave my email on the dedicated website, weeks ago but so far no answer: is the game sold out??
  4. Thank you for the nice message. I was not the only one to create covers but yeah I did some...that was years ago time passes....
  5. You're right I haven't done any for ages now...but unfortunately a cover is useless as this rom can't be burned on CD... I loved the time many home-brews were somehow DIY for the covers and CD deco but it seems this time is now over
  6. Lost my ears is there already an action class to fill a complaint?
  7. JagZombies is now available for Jag CD also on eBay: It is cool to see that game released and it is a cool attention that the cartridge and the CD are bloody red It feeds a gap in the Jaguar games as so far we didn't have any shooter game like Operation Wolf.
  8. Why not? previous games released by Wave1 were in CD so why not this one?
  9. Beware if you are in Europe as eBay charges import taxes: My son liked the demo a lot but sorry I don't have almost $100 for that game as moreover start of school is approaching and will be the priority for my budget... Hopefully there will be a CD version and that it can be shipped as gift to avoid those tax import. Maybe for Christmas in CD?
  10. Any CD version planned as I don't need to pay a lot for a cartridge?
  11. Thank you for the link: I made a search on Google but what seems to be the "official" site is not updated since 2014. (see the link I gave a bit before)
  12. Thank you gun for that 2.1.3 version. You're right: I didn't notice your post before as I skimmed this thread. I downloaded it from your link and it works fine. I still had to change the path manually for the rooms like explained before. Does that new version fixes bugs or do that bring anything new?
  13. Hi, As far as I know, the latest version of VJ for Mac is the 2.1.0 and it works very well so you shouldn't need to run a PC version of VJ under Wine It is quite fast: N.B: I placed Jiffi on the same folder but Jiffi runs under Wine, not VJ. The roms are in the software folder. I am currently running it on my iMac under High Sierra. To do the same, you need VJ 2.1.0, QT and to precise the path for roms and that's it. I detailed step by step how to here: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/247783-virtual-jaguar-for-mac-need-for-qt-4-help-help/page-3 Below are some links: VJ 2.1.0 Mac version: http://www.mirari.fr/xsZe or here: http://icculus.org/virtualjaguar/tarballs/ QT 4.8.5: https://download.qt.io/archive/qt/4.8/4.8.5/ then chose the 4.8.5 .dmg version and change the cartridge path with for example "/Users/user/desktop/virtualjaguar/software/" if your "software" folder is on your desktop:
  14. Guys do you realize I opened this topic to share with you the info about a €1 SCART converter, that I bought yesterday a 40' monitor and the pics I shot are taken almost out of the box? You don't even give me the time to understand how to setup the monitor and you're posting or approving unfriendly reactions: WTF?? Nothing more interesting to do with your lives than shitting sarcasms? Next time I find something interesting for the Jag don't count on me to share it with the community as I am fed up with this kind of behaviour.
  15. OK now I am fully happy with that combo (1€ converter + €299 40' monitor) as I can play my Jag games in full screen and guess what? against all odds that Chinese converter is not that bad at all, probably beating devices like Elgato and others but the quality of the pictures I get is not bad at all. So thank you to this converter
  16. By the time the Jag still doesn't have any Operation Wolf like nor any Bomberman... Ocean is listed so there is a hope but that's dead again for Bomberman...
  17. eBay auction shows the product was in France already: I still don't understand how it is possible to do some money when sending this device only €1: the shipping costs alone is higher but anyway the converter is home and I spend only €1 as incredible it can be. Now the price is € 8.99 for the same auction but I paid for it € 1 as the price was €1 one week before: In this quest to plug my Jag on HDMI, nothing is normal since the beginning: the converter was found at silly price, purchased from a a Chinese vendor but shipped from my country so I get it in less than one week and this morning while looking for a PC monitor to replace my good old Atari ST screen, I found a Philips 40' with almost 60% off My first idea was to plug the Jag to my iMac 21' screen but I took it
  18. I received mine and despite it costs me only €1 it is doing the job: Now I have to see if I can get the picture higher but even if it stays like this it is for me a big step forward compare to the Atari tube screen the Jag was pugged to before.
  19. I saw it is no longer priced €1: now the same auction is priced € 8.99. It is quite easy to find on eBay or other sites by searching for "smart to hdmi" I realise I was at the right place at the right timeout €9 is still quite cheap even if I can say I paid 9 times less
  20. Sure that no brand no ref doesn't help and let me think of a something very cheap but at €1 anyway can't wait for a miracle. I ordered one as the risk taken is quite low so let see... Now I wonder if that will be possible to plug it on my iMac and play Jaguar games on it or not.
  21. Hope there will be soon new updates of this zombies hunt
  22. Below are some links from eBay amongst numerous other links for the same device in ePay, Amazon, Price Minister, CDiscount and many other places: https://www.ebay.fr/itm/Adaptateur-Scart-HDMI-to-HDMI-720P-1080P-HD-Audio-Converter-Box-pour-DVD-XBOX/182950463988?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2748.l2649 https://www.ebay.fr/itm/Convertisseur-Video-SCART-HDMI-to-HDMI-720P-1080P-AV-HDMI-to-HDMI-DVD-HD-Player/191036477450?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20170831090034%26meid%3D7444d830c0ea4a16956240885b9b6940%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D6%26rkt%3D6%26mehot%3Dag%26sd%3D182950463988&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851 https://www.ebay.fr/itm/Audio-Adaptateur-SCART-HDMI-to-HDMI-Convertisseur-720P-1080P-HD-Converter-DVD/202146726567?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20170831090034%26meid%3D7444d830c0ea4a16956240885b9b6940%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D182950463988&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851 Now it can costs up to €50 for a totally similar device: Even on eBay, you can find it at €25: sounds it is like open bar: come and pay what you want for it Difficult to see if we are talking about the same device or different devices inside a same black box... Nothing very precise about ref nor specs nor technology, just a list of functions: The price of €1 is that low I wonder how they can do any margin and how it is possible for that price to get something decent but for that price I bought one so let see. My first idea was to plug the Jag to my iMac via HDMI port: this is something easy to do for for example a Nintendo Switch by using an Elgato 60S. It requires to install on the Mac their software "Game capture" and that's it. The problem is: that Elgato converter doesn't have any SCART plug this is why I found that "€1 too cheap to be honest" converter.
  23. Thank you for sharing this. it is cool to see new games from you for our good old kitty
