    I mean, it is AtariAge, so no one can complain too much... I vaguely recall years and years ago that you had some reason for skipping over them, but I don't really remember anymore.

    For all the sub-division, I'm still surprised a regular Nintendo or Super Nintendo forum hasn't come about yet. Especially now with NintendoAge down and out, there really isn't a good place for early Nintendo fans to be anymore (not that NintendoAge was ever a good place to be...).

    @CZroe Not really helpful, I know, but I've heard a ton of awful things about Doujindance's work. There are several videos on Youtube where people fix his shoddy work. Supposedly he's gotten better with time, but I wouldn't trust him based off the reviews I've seen. There's a Proboards PC Engine forum with some good techy people there who might be in a better position to answer if you don't get a good answer here, though.

    When I opened it up, Thrust was in the tenth spot and then eleventh spot when I clicked on page 2. Someone could theoretically never find Galagon (or Thrust) going through all the pages because of their scuffle.

    I haven't been keeping up with the Atari homebrew scene in a couple years, but you're absolutely right. Galaga 2600 looks amazing. I have Galaga on so many platforms and always play it in the arcade, but I will definitely be getting this port now, too.

    Add me to the list of people who absolutely loathe low-health sounds and pretty much the entirety of Nintendo's first party voices and sound effects beginning in the N64 era. I just can't stand all the noise. Kind of related to the Ocarina of Time thread, but one of my main grips was that damn fairy. And you get all the noises in Minish Cap and everything after. If was done to attract the youth, it definitely lost me as its audience. I never bought a single Nintendo first party game new after like 1999 or thereabouts until you get to some of the more mellowed out Wii games. Maybe I have sensitive ears, but Nintendo "hyas!" and "heys!" really just grate.

    Mine was modded by Best Electronics years ago, but the S-video no longer works. No idea if you or anyone could answer this, but do you think it'd be viable and fairly straightforward to swap out the older mod for the newer? Luckily I won't need to drill.

    What a difference five years make! I crossed out the ones I either sold or have up for sale, and added games are in bold. I realized as I get older I have neither the time nor the skills to play so many games, so out went the RPGs and anything I didn't really take to right away.
