  1. Well, I live at Mexico, so far I've only one cartridge manufactured for Mexican market (Tanque Robot), everything else is imported from United States
  2. Looks like Atariage cuts everything except first frame of GIF. So here is again compressed with ZIP. qix_test_3.gif.zip
  3. Very good progress! Finally I've discovered how to replicate the bug of horizontal line after filling a block. At start just move to right and start a block upwards, move to right to finish and keep control pointing to up while block fills up: a magical horizontal line will appear. Also happens with BlueMSX. I've made an animated GIF recording to show it to you. I hope this helps.
  4. I've been testing with a private emulator that I've made for my use. I've activated a feature to fill VRAM with 0x01. Your ROM doesn't init that zone, you can test it with a real Colecovision (you'll see some trash) I like very much the new speed, it's just right
  5. I've saw this thread about someone interested in sell a Tank Wars. http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/202174-tank-wars-bit-colecovision/
  6. Wow! you're fast I've tested it again and so far I've been able to replicate the case drawing blocks over the right side (qix_test_2) Also at some point the qix got up to top-left screen without touching me and the game ended (qix_test_1) I hope this helps you.
  7. I'm glad you solved it. Actually I've a LG LCD TV that does something curious, if you leave it in channel 3 for a while it will lose synchro and will not show anything when you turn on the Colecovision, the only way for it to work is to change channel and get back to channel 3.
  8. Nice effort. I managed to stomp a bug after filling an area appeared a horizontal line in the top of block covering qix and I've won. I think it would be better if movement could be faster.
  9. 32K of RAM are excellent for writing some pretty advanced games otherwise not feasible, combine that with a 1MB Megacart and, by example, you can create a big RPG full of graphics and story (though probably it will take ages to program!) And the extra PSG allows enhanced music sounding very much like arcade games. I've done already some tests for my next Colecovision game that improves instruments greatly for SGM owners while being backward compatible with unexpanded Colecovision. So I think that SGM is a very welcome enhancement.
  10. I'm very impressed by your collection of cartridges and by the fact you've five Colecovision!
  11. My MSX game Mecha-8 got 73% score at Retrogamer 102 :)

Thanks! Also I'm finishing a very much improved version.

  12. I've had the chance to look at a preview of Princess Quest's box art and it looks great
  13. The box artwork for my upcoming Colecovision's Princess Quest looks great :)

  14. At 1993 was a epic achievement to download a 240K file with X-Modem over a 2400 baud modem, praying for line not to fail. And only to discover that the file description was wrong My best memories are of course the colorful ANSI graphics, very ingenious for the time.
  15. You can get already the MSX version from http://www.matranet.net/ The Colecovision version will be available in Christmas 2012.
  16. Sorry for having missed this thread for so long and replying so late. The Europen ColecoVisions I have this byte set to to 50. And I take care in my libcvu library to use this byte in the music playback routine to get the speed correct. Philipp Thank you so much. I'm using this byte in my games to keep speed equal
  17. And finally I've got my Armageddon and Way of Exploding Foot! My first pink cartridge
  18. I've received yesterday my cartridge of Side-Trak Amazingly even the sticker looks like a Coleco one
  19. Use a little of isopropyl alcohol, clean the PCB RF modulator with a toothbrush, repeat until the toothbrush cames clean. Wait for alcohol to evaporate. A whole clean of the Colecovision's PCB can help also.
  20. It's kind of though to put a value for these type of variants But let's say I know some collectors that would pay $100+ for this variant My guess is something around $150 I suppose that you talk about a CIB. This is a loose cartridge. Thank you again, retroillucid. Now I'll negotiate with the guy. I'm pretty sure you'll get one just a matter of patience and luck.
  21. Yeah, ever since I posted the first version in this forum, I've noticed that it's getting a lot harder and quite a bit more expensive to win eBay auctions! I guess I should have kept this to myself until after I acquired some of the remaining items that I am missing from my collection. All kidding aside, thanks for the kind words and looking forward to the release of your CV games! Thanks you, Jim.
  22. Thanks retroillucid. Any idea of a reasonable price? The remaining of the lot is of little interest for me.
  23. Hi everybody. I've seen a lot with a loose Victory cartridge with "for colecovision" only label, what value would it have? The guy is asking a very high price, so better to ask here. Thanks in advance
