Could you elaborate on the NES' hookups? Is it RF-only? you can see it there in the pic...it has the original cable with it that I have put the adapter on so you can plug it directly in to your TV without the box...it would just plug it directly in to the same place you would plug a coaxial cable TV connection...works great.

Atari's Landfill Adventures, I now have the proof it's true.

assuming it doesn't get locked...you will know i am dead and gone once this thread finally dies off lol...i have kept it alive for a while now lol. :ponder: :ponder: -
yeah...that is a custom built set up that I had someone here build for me back about 8+ years ago...if you wanted to play the 8 bit conversions on your 5200 and not an emulator this was the way to go...nothing like playing Donkey Kong on the real 5200. I also have four 5200 systems, one still has the original box with most of the packing in almost mint condition if anyone is looking for one...probably send it to ebay since the box is so nice...looks like it just came off the shelf. also have this adapter that lets you play the 5200 with a regular 2600 stick...the only way to play Pac Man!

this should work i think...if not let me know. eBay Seller: mindbinge i have a lot listed, have more to list though...boxed 5200, boxed 2600, activision newsletters, tons of manuals and boxes for various games, overlays, toploader NES with dogbone controller, 3 or 4 2600's 3 or 4 5200's, a ton of Apple 2e stuff, just all kinds of stuff i've collected over the last 30+ years...it's all gotta go... Hey Mock, where do you live, I just looked on your listing and it says your less than 5 miles from me??? Abingdon...you are more than welcome to come over and check out anything you like in person...I live near Exit 14. I have a few arcade games down in the garage as well...we could play a game of Robo Cop or Rampage lol. No joke!! I live at 17 up on the hill behind the Kmart! When I get a some free time, yeah we'll have to do that! I was just at 17 a min ago to get my kid some breakfast before school...small world. For anyone else interested, I split the Jaguar, Jaguar CD, and composite video cables for the Jag up and listed them separate...they didn't sell as a complete lot so I will just bust them up and sell them each separately. I had a couple of people here that just wanted the CD Unit or the cables....so, if you are still interested hit me up.

Mock replied to Crazy Climber's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
yep...it's me...I'm selling off my collection. pics are here if anyone wants a look... http://s281.photobucket.com/albums/kk214/mindbinge/Game%20Stuff%20For%20Sale/?start=all -
you have inspired me old friend... I went ahead and took the CD unit apart and checked the wire like it said in the link...and the black wire for the lens home position sensor was off just like in the pic on the link (only the black wire not the red)...so I broke out the soldering iron and attached it back on there very securely....put it back together and tested it...and it is now WORKING! While I was looking around for stuff, I found a Battle Morph CD...I didn't even know I had it...so, now I didn't have to test with an audio CD, I have an actual Jag CD game to test with...oh happy days I got my Blackberry out and shot a video of it...uploaded it to YouTube so everyone can see it in action and working Here ya go! Check it out! http://youtu.be/xluJAiRAvSY The price is no longer $150 by the way since I did the work, fixed it, and tested it...and have proof ....and, I also found some more cool Atari stuff I didn't know I had It's been a good night I will get pics of all the new stuff I found, plus pics of all the old stuff and if you guys want any of it you can have first shot before i send it all to ebay.

OK...so I got the Jag out, got a CD out, set everything up...the Jag comes on with the nice growl I put the CD unit in...a Jag screen with some sort of fireworks looking stuff came up...it wasn't a red screen, it was black and had the Jag logo with fireworks looking stuff going on...i didn't get any music playing but i could hear it make a tick sound. I looked on google and found this link: http://www.linkovitch.me.uk/jaguar/cdrepair/ticking-laser.html says it's an easy fix, I don't want to mess with it...the CD does spin freely in there, it's not locked up or anything like that it doesn't seem....so...thats how it is...I also have the composite video cable with this, which I didn't realize I had until i got the Jag out of the box...it's got the red-white-yellow RCA type jacks that you can plug in to any modern TV...I hooked mine up to a Vizio HD and it looked pretty cool lol. SO...if anyone wants this...that is the deal...I think $150 plus actual shipping is an absolute steal on this.

$30 Sega Power Strike - Box, Instructions, Cart...great shape, rare mail-in only game for SMS. SOLD...list updated...anyone else? I can get pics if you need them.
-
SOLD - $10 Mario Kart DS - complete. This was a pack in game with the Mario Red DS Limited Edition game. anyone else before I send this stuff to ebay? Last Call.
-
just played the Doom cart...i have never hooked the CD player up...i will try it with an audio cd, didnt know it would play them? The reason the Jag + CD is so cheap is that it's not tested...I figured even if it wasn't working it's worth that much, i don't know how or if they can be fixed...i never had the time to learn much about the Jag. Side note...If anyone wants all of this stuff, I will sell the entire lot, everything you see listed for $400 DLVD...which, I think if you look at what is for sale, that is an excellent deal.

The 2003 Holiday Cart is # 16 by the way...i just noticed it was numbered.

Cart - Complete in original box with everything that came with it. has the power plug, ADAM adapter, both instructions for the roller controller and the Slither game...has the warranty cards and all that...it's as complete as you will find.
