  1. I read the last 10 pages. I saw some high res images of the dig, and did not see anything close to a million games. I'm glad they found the stuff from the El Paso plant. That's certainly cool to finally see. But it looks like they need to keep searching, because that ain't anywhere close to a million carts.
  2. Exactly. They did not find a million carts. They found a handful. The whole myth is about a million ET carts that Atari threw away. I could find 20-30 ET carts at any flee-market. This dig DID shed some light on the mystery, but it certainly didn't solve it. Because they're about 999,000 cartridge short.
  3. The only thing this documentary crew solved by digging up the Alamagordo, landfill was that the supposed ONE MILLION carts ARE NOT there! The entire mystery is what happened to the 1 million ET cartridges. From the photos and videos, it seems they only found maybe a hundred. Where are the other 999,900 games???? They are not there. You know why? Because THATS THE WRONG LANDFILL. All this media hype is acting like the mystery has been solved. And it hasn't been. It IS good that they laid to rest the rumors of the carts being there. But THE HUNT IS STILL ON.
  4. So, I have a few questions. I know that Atari games were programmed at at place in California. First question, where was the actual building where the original Atari 2600 games were programmed? (Such as Pitfall, Yars Revenge, Space Invaders, ET) I would like to know the actual address. Second question, the games were PROGRAMMED in California. But that doesn't mean the actual place where the games were made was the same building. I think I remember hearing that Atari had a plant in texas that packaged and shipped the physical cartridges that went out to the public. Though I'm not sure if that's true. So I'd like to know where the games were physically made. In both instances, I'm looking to know the exact addresses if possible. And if the same buildings still exist.
  5. I was wondering if anyone knows any Atari 5200 games that make full use of the number pad?
  6. Hi, I'm looking for the Y Adapter you need to hook up a Wico controller to the atari 5200. Ideally, I'd like two of them. Contact me if you have any for sale.
  7. Can someone direct me to a complete list of every US released atari 2600 game? I have a list of my own, but it includes lots of PAL titles I'm not very interested in. Also, it would be good if the list included label variations.
  8. Anyone ever play Worm War I on atari 2600? If you blow stuff up in that game, and you have the lights out, the entire room will flash different colors. I'm wondering if anyone else ever had this experience with any other games? If so, which games cause the "flashy room" effect ?
  9. This should be pretty easy. I just need to know the name of this NES game
  10. What's the easiest way to play Pal atari 2600 games in the US?
  11. I'd say the fact that you know that game has a 1Mb version and a 2Mb version would make YOU the dork.
  12. I have some famicom and super famicom games. I know that there are adaptors out there that allow you to play japanese games on american consoles. But I'm having trouble finding them. Can someone help me find a website where I can buy a famicom and super famicom adaptor so I can play the games on my US systems. Thanks
  13. Could you give me the EXACT file names I need to run the game. I have downloaded every puckman and pacman rom I can find. and it still wont work. I must be doing something wrong.
  14. It couldn't be a more simple request. I'm looking for a working rom of Pac-Man. The regular Midway Arcade version. The ones I've downloaded don't work.
  15. This should be simple. I have plenty of games but one that just won't work is midway pac-man. Can someone direct me to a place that has a working version of the midway regular pac man.
  16. Okay, well how about something close? How about a photo with the most you've seen?
  17. This probably isn't too hard. Anyone know where I can find a photo of every atari 2600 game? (in 1 picture)
  18. What are the best places on the internet to get Homebrew atari games? I'm looking for Bugs Bunny and some others.
  19. Nope. I looked both those games up. It wasn't either of them. But it looked closer to the powerslave one. I think the guy used a blade as a weapon. I believe you're in a graveyard at first. Then end up undergound like a pyramid. Its like a STRATEGY game. Bt first person. And you have to figure out ways past traps.
  20. Hey, I've been trying to remember a game and it's killing me. There was a game that came out, I'm going to guess around 1990 - 1994 where you would walk around and have to not get killed by mummys. I remember at one point you go into a pyramid and you have to avoid traps. I believe it was a first person type of thing. I'd really like to find out what the name of that was. Hopefully someone will know. Thanks

  24. death trap, that looks like it. However I'd really like to see a screenshot. I remember the actual game looking quite different then the picture on the back of the box. Also, I am pretty sure i had it on a 5 1/4" floppy. And played it on C64. I didn't have any of the atari computers.
