  1. Dont forget about your light. In dark areas switch on your light. Well, maybe in Halo1 you dont have one, but I used it in Halo2. (I think it's the Left shoulder button)
  2. Dam. Hopefully soon. But for now it's still mostly Rock Band 1. (Do I have to put 1 there, now that RB2 is out?)
  3. I dont know about quitting all together, but I'm more about starting a game playing for awhile, and move on to something else. It might be another system all together. The compelling factor of " I must finish this game!!!" never really grabs me. Lol, maybe I'm just lazy! Like with Rock band. I have my 7 or 8 songs I really like to play. I dont really care if I finish the whole game. As far as beating a game on the 360...I guess it's the games I have. Most have multi player. Which is what I like. I like to play as a group more than I do solo. So beating a game never really comes up. I have more racing games than other genres. And racing is, well, racing. I guess finishing a season or a collection circuits would be finishing a game...but I just like to throw in the game, hit the throttle, and goooooo! If I have to pick thou, I guess yes...I am a game quitter. Note: Games I have finished with friends...Lost Planet, Call of Duty 4, Conan. We take turns doing a mission, then pass the controller. Or, if you failed a mission, pass the controller.
  4. Hahahahaa. I have not subscribed, but I did watch your vids awhile ago. When I read this, and clicked the link, I said " hey, it's that guy, cool!" Welcome aboard!
  5. I'm new to the 7800 as well. This thread was great for getting tips. I just got the console and some games. But it came with no power supply or RF cord. So, I'm in the hunt for those items. I guess ebay? Have no idea if the system works yet....cant wait. I just modified one of my NES controllers. You can find a how to around. I think, it may even be listed on this site....cant remember. Super easy to do.
  6. Thanks for the tips everyone. If any others you think of....
  7. You gotta try those Dynasty Warrior games. I'm sure you'll dig those!
  8. Anybody give me input on the FF series that are NOT turn based? Or are they all like that? No internet versions please.
  9. Do I have to use the Rockband strat, or 3rd party guitar? Cant I use the 360 controller.
  10. Cool. Just wanted to check before I did it and something bad would happen. Neither of use internet, so thats not an issue. Actually she is one who wanted to know. Her 360 died from the RRoD, and was close to finishing N3. So she wanted to bring her HD and game over to play and try to finish it. The repairs cant some soon enough, so she wants to use mine. So, just to be clear, if she plugs in her HD on my 360...plays...leaves...removes her HD and I plug mine back in, all my stuff will still be good and not all screwed up? (gamer profile, info, stats and all that)
  11. I have a 360. My sister in-law has a 360. But instead of bringing her console, gear and what not to my place, could she just unplug her HD, bring her game, and plug her HD into my 360. Load her game and her profile and saved info would appear? Kind of like like what you can do with a PS2 memory card. just curious....
  12. dont know about the homebrew, but the weird game was called Pass The Pigs, for those who want to know.
  13. Frag. I have the red one, and the sketch style one. Have to double check to see if i have a blue one. Thanks for your help!
  14. I have two Space Shuttle games. One with blue label, the other with picture on the label. Each game has the overlays, instructions, and the boxes. The last thing I need to make it complete would be an Activision catalog. If one was originally packed with the game, does anyone know which one it would be? I have a handful of Activison catalogs, and could be one of them. I just don't know which was packed in the game. Anyone have their box and all original contents to help?
  15. That would be Atari's Stunt Cycle: http://www.atarimuseum.com/videogames/dedi...stuntcycle.html Yep, thats it! Thanks! That thing looks cool, I'd like to find that someday.
  16. I might like it if I ever play it. Is this the game that had a handlebar grip controller thing to it? And what the hell is that black thing under the car/truck supposed to be?
  17. I think I'm going to return my replacement i just got. This 2nd console isnt as nice as the one I bought. The power button on the console doesn't push in to power it up. You have to push hard on the edge (outer part of the circle) for the green light to come on and start the power up. Secondly, the right USB input (if the console is upright) is janky. When you plug into it, the connection is really loose. There is severe slack, or side to side movement when you plug something in it. The left one is fine, nice and snug. I know these are minimal things, and it does work fine. But I bought a brand new unit, and this feels like..." here you go Milkman, heres a nice hardly new refurb, now kindly go F yourself thanks very much " I want MY 360 repaired and sent back to me, not this one.
  18. Bought my 360 Jan '07. Got Rock Band for Christmas this year (well Christmas 2007), played it twice and got the RRoD. My replacement 360 arrived in mid January. Other than firing up the replacement to make sure it worked, I have not played it since it died. I don't know. Just kinda lost interest I guess.... My PS2 (good 'ol original that was packed with GT3, not a slim) has logged alot hours of play lately though! I bought a new PS2 game last month, SBK 2007 (World Superbike racing) for $17.99. $17.99!!! for a new PS2 title! Thats more like it! I love you PS2 hahahaaaaahaha
  19. I did the NES controller mod. Worked great. I think the instructions I used were from here. Still prefer the joystick though...slik stik!
  20. Small print on back of the box... "*Possibly never available, soon." HAhahaha, I love it!
  21. The ECS is the computer add-on for the system... it's more of a keyboard with some additional RAM than anything else. They did come out with a true computer add-on, but it is very rare to come by. The Intellivision II is a smaller form factor with removable controllers (although the controllers are much rougher on the hands than even the original ones are). If you're looking for a system , you're better off with the original Intellivision. +1 And, some of the Coleco titles are known to not work on the Inty II. I think Donkey Kong is one of them.
  22. I got RockBand for Christmas. I played it (tried) twice. Well, 2 nights anyway. It would freeze at various parts of the game. Different each time I tried to play it. Then, the second night, RRoD. Sending it to MS this week. This is the first time my system had froze while playing a game. Had mine for about a year now....sigh, yeah.
  23. I have never noticed this before, but, it looks like your sixer has a grommet where the RF cord comes out. Do all sixer have that? Can't remember if mine have that. (Typing this from work, cant check on mine at the moment) Nice score BTW! oooo, sweet Atari dust cover too!!!!
