  1. LTO Flash! encryption has to be done 'at the factory'. Anything can be encrypted, even Astrosmash for example. They can be encrypted for use on ALL LTO Flash! units, or done on an individual basis. Right now, we don't sell encrypted ROMS for the LTO Flash! simply because we don't have encrypted ROMS for all of the approximately 1000 LTO Flash! units in the wild. Hopefully, this can be remedied soon. JLP saves, extra ram, acceleration and bank switching are of course supported by LTO Flash! units. Flash cartridges such as the Backbit and RTO SHOULD be able to support game saves, extra ram and bank switching. Bringing JLP acceleration and encryption into the conversation is just confusing and unnecessary. JLP math routine acceleration is used in FUBAR, and maybe Boulder Dash. That's it. I don't know if the 'INT' extension put out by the 'Good Roms' people includes the configuration file or not. It might be a rename of ROM files (which have the cfg built in) or just a rename of BIN files, which is of course missing the cfg file. Really, someone needs to ask whoever puts out these 'int' ROMS to rename them to .rom and make sure they work with existing emulators. The important part is that when downloading a .bin file for the Intellivision, it should be considered incomplete if it doesn't come with a .cfg file as well.
  2. It's exactly the same as my original Intellivision box. Mine was purchased in September 1980 in Hamilton, Ontario. If I recall correctly, they included a 'flair' felt tipped pen to fill out your warranty card. Back then, the manuals were in full colour, but by that time, transitioning to cheaper monochrome manuals.
  3. They aren't sold out at the moment. I just sent Pandora Incident and Infiltrator to France. The combined shipping (with my Canada Post discount) was $37 CAD. The games are 95 dollars and the PayPal fees work out to about 4.5 percent of the total. It gives an idea what the shipping costs are. 1 game would still be $37.
  4. That's right. I'm not able to ship to Europe for anything approaching reasonable cost at the moment. I'm asking $120 CANADIAN (approx $90 US depending on exchange at the moment) for a copy of The Pandora Incident, shipped to North America. That includes the shipping and the PayPal fees. Send a DM if interested.
  5. I have a new in box Klax available for $120 CANADIAN dollars, shipped in North America, if you want a copy send me an DM.
  6. When Carl parted from Elektronite, he took the rights to sell the ROM. So, all ROM sales go to Carl. Intellivision Collector is currently handling ROM sales of his games from there. Good Deal Games, and others have purchased wholesale copies of D2K and DK to re-sell. They aren't available exclusively directly from Elektronite.
  7. The Elektronite website is out of date and will be updated when we are functioning again. We only recently got JLP boards and need to obtain shells for those boards. Once we have product to sell, the website will be updated.
  8. Carl Mueller sells the ROMS, he doesn't sell the physical copies. If you want the ROM, please contact Intellivision Collector. They sell the ROM on Carl's behalf.
  9. What are you complaining about? It's a great box!
  10. Sorry, that's not correct. No free rom with CIB purchase. We currently have no JLP boards but are working on getting some made. Until then, there are no more copies of A-F available.
  11. ILLUSIONS (Unreleased) Cartridge Instructions (For 1 player) Prepare yourself for a journey into a most unusual fantasy. A kingdom where nothing is as it seems. A land where the usual is unusual. Take a good look--then look again. It's a place. It's a time. It's a state of mind. Illusions -- it's all done with mirrors! Legend has it that Gleebs, (Amoeba-like creatures) learned this from the masters, their mentors, their teachers: "The Kingdom of Lizards In the Mirror Dimension is where Gleebs shall hold Their yearly convention". When time comes to leave this structure surreal, the Gleebs must escape, though there is no door. Just stairs going nowhere, And time running out... They must pass through the glass as one Gleeb--not more. Gleebs jump up or down and can change direction; When they meet, they meld, And two become one. Their union is strong, They keep moving along And all late arrivals must join in the fun. Soon lizards may enter to add to the tension. Their touch brings frustration as more Gleebs appear. But there is one known method Of reptile prevention... A liquid-filled beaker, Crystalline clear. Those liquefied lizards are put on "suspension"; They change into fish, flopping in place. That's the cue for the Gleebs to go for extension. Contact a fish To add time to the race. What's not fish is fowl- (In this kingdom that's fair). When a bird glides above them The Gleebs must beware. If one happens to meet it The result is a crime; there's egg on their faces, The Gleebs lose some time. At last, through the mirror! Is a haven at hand? No! The Gleeb finds itself In a weird, cubic land. The objective now is more Gleebs, not less. It takes four to escape By the mirrored egress. If the Gleebs want out with all of their heart, the answer is simple: They must stay apart. To split, they must split (which makes sense, if you ponder), In order to get through that looking-glass yonder. When one group of Gleebs flees each mirrored maze, A new crew convenes In the Kingdom's first phase. Use the clues in these verses To help them get free. PRESS RESET BUTTON: Title will appear on TV screen. SELECT LEVEL Press any button or disc and the option to enter the level appears. All odd entries start on the Mirror Dimension screen. All even entries start on the Cube Maze screen. The higher the number selected, the more difficult the level. GAME CONTROLS DISC makes the Gleebs change the direction in which they are traveling. Press DISC up to make the Gleebs go up ramps. Press the DISC down to make the Gleebs go down ramps. SIDE BUTTONS On the Mirror Dimension Screen: The Upper side buttons makes the Gleeb jump up when it reaches a jump point. The Lower side Button makes the Gleeb jump down when it reaches a jump point. On the Cubic Maze: Pressing any side button makes the Gleeb split when it reaches a separation point. NOTE: In this game, side button presses are held "in memory". A Gleeb will not jump up or down. or split, until it is at a jump point or a separation point. Then the game "remembers" the side button press and the jump or separation occurs. POINTS Points scored are shown on the Scoring Screen at the completion of each round. Players score 10 points for every second of time remaining on the timer, at the completion of a round. Players score 50 bonus points each time a Gleeb is combined or separated. At all Skill Levels. players start with five minutes on the timer. Additional time can be earned by contacting a fish. Time can be lost by contacting a bird. A game is over when the timer runs out.
  12. I've heard nothing from LTO regarding the LTO Flash! as of March 2023. The 300 LTO Flash! boxes have not been shipped from Thailand.
  13. Arnauld C. has a new Chess game, but I told him I didn't think it would sell if we finished it.
  14. I'm a bit confused by this post. It's my understanding that you were the one who cut off the sales at 300. I've encouraged you to release more a few times in the past decade, but you've always cited 'speculators' as the reason for not releasing more. Now, here we are about a decade later and people are lamenting that they can't get a copy of the game at a reasonable price. Exactly opposite to what you wanted. There are actually zero barriers to making more exact copies. Joe has more hologram stickers than 300. He has many more exact overlays. He has enough boxes for a couple of hundred. He has remaining cartridge stickers. You printed the manuals. I'm sure you could do them at the same printer, and in the same way. Hell, I didn't even toss all of the Christmas Carol boxes into the garbage (just a lot). Joe won't block you making more exact copies. Just buy the materials that belong to him and you could make more. This picture was just taken today in Ontario, Canada. If you want to kill off speculation, let's do it. I'll arrange to have these boxes shipped.
  15. The occasional INTV System III or Super Pro system have Tutorvision parts in them.
  16. Encrypted ROMS for the 3rd run of LTO Flash! do not exist because that has to be done by Left Turn Only. Regardless, despite you wanting to buy one of the ROMS, you are probably one of the 30 people who would lay out actual money for a ROM.
  17. JLP doesn't allow encryption. On the other hand, LTO Flash! can use encrypted ROMS that work on the LTO Flash! either individually or on ALL LTO Flash! units. JLP boards however, can be burned in a way (or not) that allow copy protection. Even if you're using a JLP board, and don't apply copy protection, the rom can then be dumped. Unfortunately, the ability to encrypt ROMS has been a disappointment. From my experience, it seems to me that ROM sales top out at about 30, regardless if they are protected or not. So, my advice is to not even bother.
  18. Michael Thomasson boasts world record collection of more than 10,000 video games | Daily Mail Online
  19. I have a friend who once had the record. It takes effort to get verified so there are people who may have an unverified larger collection. Also, the inevitable publicity sets you up as a target for thieves. So, I am sure that this guy holds the record. Anyone who has a bigger collection is welcome to take the title.
  20. I don't believe so. I believe the bank switching in LTO Flash! is identical to ECS bank switching. In other words, it works like the JLP cartridge. JLP is not 'something new' like some people think. Most games written that REQUIRE JLP carts have either extra RAM, ECS style bank switching, or non-volatile RAM that could be implemented with a Dallas chip as recently covered in Lathe's excellent tutorial on the T-card. BTW, Stop the Express is available at Intellivision Collector. Stop the Express - ROM (intellivisioncollector.com
  21. There are different bank switching methods. It's been a while, so I can't competently comment on the methods. However, I'm pretty sure that the Intellicart and/or the Cuttle Cart (one of them) had incompatible with ECS baseball bank switching. With regards to encryption, LTO is not going to share their method with others, so, a rom encrypted for use on the LTO Flash! is not going to work with one encrypted for use on any hypothetical encryption method. Stop the Express is available at Intellivision Collector Stop the Express - ROM (intellivisioncollector.com
  22. Yes, people should buy ROMS. Doesn't matter for which multi-cart.
  23. In order to give each LTO Flash! a unique ID and to KNOW what those ID's are, they have to have the initial firmware installed by LTO. It allows the encryption feature to work. Nevertheless, the fact that the initial firmware needs to be installed by LTO is NOT the limiting factor of getting more units out there. What IS the limiting factor is Joe Z. finding the TIME and MOTIVATION to do that one trivial thing AND ship them out. Believe me, if he can find the time and motivation to put the firmware on the boards, he can also go the extra mile to put them in the mail. If he CAN'T find the time, he won't have time to put them in the mail either. This talk of it being an 'original sin' is nonsense in my opinion. The firmware can be upgraded by the user in the field. It simply needs the first one to be installed 'at the factory'.
  24. The LTO Flash! firmware can be user upgraded. It's done through the GUI.
