  1. Extra ram is not a retro console feature? What about the Chess game? It has extra RAM. Bank switching is not a retro console feature? What about ECS Baseball? It supports bank switching. The JLP supports static ram, and even back in the day, the cartridges COULD have supported flash ram with a Dallas chip. The JLP cartridge is not some magical device that adds futuristic abilities to the Intellivision. It is just a cartridge with RAM, non-volatile RAM and Bank switching.
  2. As a person who is partly involved in the production of the LTO Flash!, I must say, your constant spreading of disinformation regarding the LTO Flash! is getting a bit tiresome. The LTO Flash! is not 'already done'. They are NOT 'out of production'. Not by a long shot. I printed 300 LTO Flash! boxes in summer 2022. There are 300 fully assembled circuit boards and shells for them to go into that have ALREADY been done. What DOES need to happen, is that Joe, from Left Turn Only, needs to find the time and motivation to install the firmware on the circuit boards and notch the USB slot on each shell. Unfortunately, putting the firmware on the boards is something ONLY HE CAN DO. Therefore, there is no firm date when the 300 copies will drop. However, I would BET, that it will be sometime in 2023. Sorry that I cannot be more specific, but it all depends on Joe's free time and motivation. To be clear, there are around 1000 LTO Flash! copies in the field currently. The Graphical User Interface is ACTIVELY supported by Steve O., and will CONTINUE to be supported. So, your declaration that 'they are not fixing them', is unfounded speculation at best. It's not the first time that you've been told this. Stop spreading disinformation about the LTO Flash! I know that you love to shill for the Backbit, and I have nothing against it. I would LOVE to see it support JLP features such as compatible bank switching, non-volatile flash RAM, and an extra RAM block. It would certainly make it a good alternative to the admittedly difficult to obtain LTO Flash!. However, it will NEVER support compatible encryption with the LTO Flash!. Get the back bit to support some form of running encrypted ROMS if that is your goal. I personally think that the encrypted ROM business is already well served by the LTO Flash!. Even with approximately 1000 LTO Flash! units out there, ROMS typically sell 30 copies, encrypted or not. So, it's not going to make any difference at all in the popularity of the Backbit if it supports or does not support proprietary encryption.
  3. 34. RAPO#34 Jaxivision (Atari Age) Payment Instructions Sent PAID - Infiltrator PAID If you got your Robot Army, you have it. Losing track of your collection?
  4. Unfortunately, there are no cartridges to make more copies. We expect to have cartridges in six months to a year and intend to make more copies available when we can.
  5. Unfortunately, there are no cartridges to make more copies. Closer to the end of the year is my guess for more copies to be available. Elektronite is working on our own solution for cartridges.
  6. Your RAPO#34 and PANDORA#24 went out November 23. I forgot to enter your tracking number in PayPal, but have done so now. Your delivery is expected December 6.
  7. I think that he meant 'Frenzy'. Berzerk and Frenzy were the two arcade games. No samples of those games were taken. The voices were done by a voice actor and encoded for use on the Intellivoice.
  8. They are human voices, done by a voice actor and encoded into Intellivoice data. Credits for the voice actor are in the manual.
  9. One of the reasons that the game was delayed so long is that we did NOT want to ship the game with phoneme voices in it. We finally did the encodes and testing led to the discovery of a bug in Intellivision Basic. Nevertheless, we are much happier with the real voices which we encoded. Copies are now shipping to preorderers. Please confirm your shipping address at elektronite @ hotmail.com and give your RAPO#, real name, Atari Age handle and indicate if you preordered Infiltrator or not. Thanks for everyone's patience and support.
  10. Just a reminder for people who have not yet confirmed their shipping address.... Please send your RAPO# and your real name and Atari Age handle AND your current shipping address to: elektronite at hotmail. com Please indicate if you preordered Infiltrator as well. Thanks!
  11. Please reply to the email address. I will not be answering PMs on Atari Age regarding addresses. Thanks.
  12. Please email your current shipping address and your RAPO# to: elektronite at hotmail.com Also, it would be helpful to know if you can confirm if you've added Infiltrator to your order. Orders should begin to ship this week.
  13. All the Robot Army copies are spoken for at the moment. We intend to make more when we get more cartridges. The game is not limited. I don't see that happening until next summer, however.
  14. The Robot Army voices have all been encoded and put in the game. We are now going to speed test the game (do the testing really really quickly) and when it checks out, the preorders will begin to ship. Sorry for the delay. We REALLY REALLY didn't want to ship the game with phoneme voices. The voices are VASTLY improved in the game.
  15. If I had to bet, I'd bet that the Intellivoice just doesn't like the new cartridge somehow, and that a new Intellivoice unit will fix your problem. The cartridge MAY have had a bad burn or be defective (I didn't make the cart) but I doubt it.
  16. They are all spoken for until we get new cartridges. Only the pre-orders are going out. The rest of my cartridges are going towards other games.
  17. Sorry, no time for that. Once we have them in the game, the game will immediately ship. Rest assured, they are better than phoneme voices.
  18. We have successfully encoded the first voice and it sounds Okay. Tonight, we hope to encode the other 24 voices and have the data to drop into the game.
  19. Also, try a different Intellivision. My original Intellivoice had issues with my original Intellivision.
  20. I wanted to update the preorderers on the status of the shipments. All of the Infiltrator cartridges have been burned, tested and labelled. The boxes are being built and should be done by Friday, (stuffed and shrinkwrapped). Robot Army is holding things up because we are in the process of creating the Intellivoice data in order to replace the phoneme voices currently in the game with encoded human voices. Getting the tools to do this was delayed. We have only started to encode our voices. It is NOT a trivial matter to create voice data for the Intellivoice, and the process has a steep learning curve. The shipment of the game may be delayed slightly into November in order to finish encoding all 25 phrases that have been recorded for the game. They have to be dropped into the game and then quickly tested. All the shipping boxes and bubble wrap have been sourced and we will be confirming addresses as soon as the Infiltrator copies are fully complete and the Robot Army boxes are built and ready to stuff with the newest version of the game.
  21. I still have to buy shipping boxes and I leave for Portland tomorrow. Sorry for the delay but I cannot get the games in the mail until Tuesday.
  22. Details of the payment were made in email. All copies but two have been paid for. Assuming that they are paid for, there are no further copies available at this time. So far a total of 93 copies have been claimed/distributed. Depending on demand of The Pandora Incident and other games, some additional copies MAY come available before we do another run of cartridges, depending on availability of cartridges. However, that's probably it until next summer or longer.
  23. Copy 29 of 30 claimed. Please email elektronite at hotmail.com with "Pandora 29 of 30" in the subject. All copies are claimed at this time. There is one payment pending and may come open depending on the payment. The copies are being built this weekend and will go out next week.
