  1. Hey just got round to entering the consul and intellivoice Is the homebrew database (and other games when you get to it) going to be visable like the hardware ?
  2. Well the wait is ended. Dave has released KotM for all to play. (and Illusions too). Shipping starts on the 15th
  3. For once a bit of cash spare AND an intellivision sale - woohoo five mins past 12am (well 2pm local time) and I got me a copy at last
  4. its a good layout. looking forwardto the release of this one too
  5. I wouldn't worry, I've never had issues with getting the releases either and they have to get Oz to get to me. I'm just spewing that I haven't been able to fire up the console to try out either Spina or SG&R (or the Atarisoft Pacman and Dreadnaught I got off ebay) hopefully this weekend.....
  6. Is the Credit Card option going to be available or just international MO?
  7. Like the updated site Rev. Have you seen pre-orders for SameGame/Spina have started?
  8. My hope is to release a significantly upgraded Space Patrol for CGE. I also have some original edition copies that I couldn't sell before (I ran out of boards, but I still have boxes) that I will also make available for folks that want both. If I don't have the upgraded version complete by CGE, I'll still probably be in a position to give a demo of where I'm at and start taking down a list of who's interested. I definitely think everyone will like what I have in store. So will this Space patrol be only available at CGE? or will you have some available after the event for those os us unable to get there?
  9. Well make sure you post details if you do re-release Minehunter. I missed out last time.
  10. Aww Man. Is there going to be any chance that those of us not in North America will be able to get a copy of a new Space Patrol release (or Minehunter either)?
  11. Really do need a new "photo'

  12. Question on the logistics of getting a much coveted D2K. Is it going to be through the emailed expressions of interest (read: I want it, I want it, I want it)? going to an order page on http://gamesforyourintellivision.com/ ? or an order page on http://www.elektronite.com/ ? combination of the three? or none of the above?
  13. Now enough of the argy-bargy, lets get down to the important issues... Is there any cover-art or overlay teasers for us to drool over?
  14. No definitely official. But CBS/Coleco would have made only enough titles in this format to sell to Video-Hire shops for the purpose of hiring out. The copies in the stores for the public to buy were the standard cardboard boxes. These purpose-built clams might have been a promotional thing as well. Because the boxes of video games for hire often wore out and the games were often re-packaged into generic clam-shell cases due to durability. Normally this was ad-hoc done by the store owners and are easy to spot (cut out front and back panels and the cart doesn't quite fit right in the clamshell) and always looked shabby. I have seen a few of these over the years in bric-a-brac shops. I do remember a small number of titles that looked great because they were in proper housings with the colour printed wrap-around cover. I remember Donkey Kong (as I hired it and until I started to collect games again didn't own a copy) and at least another CBS/Coleco title in this format for the Intellivision (Carnival?).
  15. By Memory these clam shell releases were for the rental market only (no retail copies in shops) So any that survive would be extremely rare. I remember a few CBS/Coleco titles (and a few Atari VCS titles) in clam shells at my local video hire but the card-board boxes were all you got in the stores. As for exactly which titles were released in clam-shells... sorry it was thirty years ago and I was just 10 at the time. Seeing the pictures jogged my memory.
  16. I Agree with vprett. I was really happy with the original DK Arcade (estactic in fact as Coleco's was crap and I loved the arcade version as a kid). That Carl has been able to finish a sequel so quickly is absolutely great. That it has a copy of the original DK Arcade (with a few glitches fixed that I hadn't personally come across) added to the cart is a real bonus. I think a bit of the tone if this discussion has been set but the claims of DKA being "obsolete" which is not true rather with the bonus inclusion those who missed the first run get a second chance and those of us who got the first run have the sequel to look forward to.
