Well we've a hottish 35 degC today (which is a public holiday) but start hitting the high 30s tomorrow and then again at end of the week.. Machine break-downs here we come. Hopefully won't be like the last heat blast which was forecast high thirties but actually went into the forties for three days with a top at 45 degC (113F). - yech! I end up working 12-14 hour days getting everything running again.

Here's a scan of the sleeve. In terms of the rental/clamshell issue, I'm coming to the view that the clamshells were not necessarily for just for rental. Activision released almost all of their Atari catalogue in clamshells here in OZ (they seem to have imported the European international boxes for the Intellivision). it may have been just a cost-cutting measure for what is a small market as it saves on printing specific boxes. CBS may have come to the same conclusion and used the same clamshell for all three consoles with just different printed inserts. What makes it more complicated is that CBS did clamshells and imported the international stripped boxes but put a specific Australian manual inside, and I have had at least one US Coleco box but with a Oz manual and CBS cart come through my hands (no idea if this was how it was released or if the guy I got the bundle from had cobbled it together). 2725_001.pdf

The Aust CBS clamshell releases for both Intellivision and Atari VCS had Colecovision on them. I suspect a slack-arse graphic designer who couldn't be bothered changing the type-set

Well its a pleasant 25 degC today and a bit overcast (77 F). However for the next five days... Mon 35 C (95) Tues 41 C (106 F) Wed 39C (102 F) Thurs 38 C (100 F) Fri 39 C (102 F) getting a bit warm and we're roughly as far south as Washington DC is north. Adelaide, however will cop two consecutive 43 C days (109 F) this week. yeech!

End of Jan is the "traditional" end time for voting so any late releases have a chance to be played over the holidays before people vote.

Even without the over expensive postage, $25 is expensive. I just picked up 281205776646 with mouse trap and four other games for $52 shipped. $15-20 should be the top range for a good condition I think
