  1. re-re-reconfirming want for one (or maybe two depending on $)
  2. I've only just started collecting Sears and the first Ebay purchase was the Soccer one only because everyone seems to have trouble getting it (only cost $11 in a lot of 6 commons +pp)
  3. Love Machine (part 1)- the miricles
  4. But given that the baggie releases are rarer and certainly an official release they should count toward Platinum. It would be like saying that when Groovy releases his carts that it is impossible to get a complete collection CiB of homebrews. If that's how its released then its complete.
  5. Actually the discussion on "baggies" was started long ago but wasn't really resolved........until now. [hopefully]
  6. I am considering the next stage of Intellivision collecting - hardware. Of course I have the stock PAL country equipment - brown console(s), brown ECS(s), Intellivoice(s) (haven't a keyboard yet but will get there). The peripherals like the system changer and video plexer - do they have compatibility issues with consoles? I think I read somewhere that the system changer couldn't be used with an original console without modification, does this apply to a Sears console too? What about INTV III, Tandyvision and Sylvania? I'm guessing that the system changer needs to be teamed with a US console for power and video compatibility. Are there any other known compatibility issues?
  7. My recollection from the earlier discussion (Aug '12) was Platinum = 125 CiB; Gold = 125 (not all cib); silver = 124 (missing spiker) http://atariage.com/forums/topic/200992-intellivision-the-125-club/page-3?hl=%2Bgold+%2Bmembership&do=findComment&comment=2580264
  8. I dunno. a sealed "baggie" released by INTV corp. should be accepted as CiB (and I wouldn't limit that to Spiker if other INTV titles can be verified as released in this way) but the Gold membership was for all of us who don't quite get all CiB but do get all released titles. (this is the best I hope to get) Spiker is currently the "hardest to get" due to price but from what I understand that wasn't always the case. SMB was, correct me if I'm wrong, the most expensive/hardest to get in the past. At the moment LF I and II CiB is eluding a lot of us... so making an exception for Spiker may not reflect the issues for later collectors. I would keep with the current formula but amend to include sealed INTV released "baggies"
  9. How come you haven't assembled them yet? [just injecting a little sour grapes to remain consistent with the day's preceding's] Otherwise.....nice!
  10. mine arrived here in Oz. Looking great, and as soon as 3yo goes to bed, I'll be getting wooped by Ted.
  11. These will have it on the inner flap for the top of the box (I think, maybe bottom) and say clearly that they are reproductions. I cannot think Oliver would change from the last set as these are made to house orphaned carts in people's collections, not dupe unsuspecting buyers.
  12. I keep meaning to post this. For those waiting on Oliver's Reproduction box set #2 he replied to me on the 14th: "Hi Stuart, the Intellivision Box Replica Set II is almost finished. I am still waiting for somtehing from the printing company, but I hope to get it soon. I can then start putting the set together for purchase. I will let you know as soon as it becomes available." I'll let people know if there's no other posts on AA when they're released
  13. Does anyone know how to set up a Poll so we can gauge how many Yes' versus No's there are out there? So far I think the "No" vote (to including DotC Demo counted as a Homebrew game) is ahead
  14. I don't know....Cmart you do have a knack of spreading the affliction. Those Sears titles you "snuck" into that Trade got me hooked on collecting the Sears titles (For which I don't think I said Thankyou for....Thankyou). By the way I'll have another batch of Aussie label variants for you soon (time poor and been away from home with work a lot). So it was me who got the Soccer.
  15. So how'd this slip by all the Sears collectors? 400571008933 http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fitm%2F400571008933%3FssPageName%3DSTRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT%26_trksid%3Dp3984.m1497.l2649
  16. Imagic "Baggie" release of Swords and Serpents. Never seen one before http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fitm%2FVINTAGE-INTELLIVISION-SYSTEM-IMAGIC-VIDEO-GAME-SWORDS-SERPENTS-FACTORY-SEALED-%2F261289114092%3Fpt%3DVideo_Games_Games%26hash%3Ditem3cd60b79ec Item 261289114092 for US ebayers
  17. I avoided ROM only releases but should make mention of the more recent Elektronite releases. There were some ROM only releases in the early 2000s from what I understand but how available they are, and that they are limited to emulation and CC3 sort of limits them a bit.
