  1. Oh bummer.... I missed it.. Yeah I was kinda doing boxed stuff that I knew I liked (to kinda get a momentum) and the occasional clunker here and there. Mostly trying to get stuff I had during my childhood.
  2. Yeah you got a point... maybe "zoned out" would be a better phrase. But I know what you mean about kaboom.... when I first played it I thought it was too tough, then I saw my cousin doing real good with it. So I was determined to master it. Actually got really good at it. This was the 8-bit version with the music.
  3. Yeah... I ended up with a couple hand helds like this. I'm loving my gp32, but man that sucker likes to attract dirt on the screen!!! As for playable games all I know is the fast moving ones can be difficult sometimes because of the BLUR factor. But it's still a cool device. Only drawback is lugging around those bulky (for a handheld) carts.
  4. I'd buy some loose 2600 carts, but I've been concentrating on getting as many boxed common titles as I can first. But I know what you mean kepone. I have about 20 common 5200 carts that I cannot even get rid of.. Bummer
  5. hmmm... never knew that synapse made lode runners rescue... I always thought that was a pretty cool game. Wasn't it a two disker?
  6. Thanks... If anyone is curious... I happened to acquire these but I was trying to decide whether to trade em, sell em, or keep em. Since my overall goal is to get as many boxed titles as possible I was curious as to my chances of finding on boxed. If they were to small then I'm probably better off keeping them.
  7. Yeah once you get used to it the default controls aren't that bad, but I think my lynx has been temporarily replaced by my GP32. Got it this week, and ST emulation is schweeeeeet!!!
  8. A more modern phrase would be "in the zone"...
  9. It'll be worth it just for the ability to read multi-disk games and the built in translator functionality. Some games are more of a hassle to get going than others even with an SIO2PC card. Plus if I'm currently hitting a handful of games hard I don't have to worry about keeping myself confined to the same room as the PC.
  10. Yeah... I saw that one last week... I stopped searching on ebay though, my wallet is hurting..
  11. Yeah I got a package today that was "media mail" and it looked like someone sat on it. Luckily the contents inside were fine. Phew..
  12. Seller has one feedback too....
  13. Not really, just sonic 2 (CIB), sonic pinball loose, and a couple of imports.
  14. Deadly Ducks Fast Eddie Revenge Of The Beefsteak Tomatoes how much are they worth with instructions? and how hard would they be to find boxed?
  15. sends sublimibal messages!!! Nester DC... a800 DC.... oooooooooo
  16. Why couldn't you have done this 2 weeks ago... before I spent all my money.
  17. Lemme know if it works... I'm just curious if my memory was correct. Hmm seems I had myself mixed up on the DOS releases. I think people didn't like XE so 2.5 was the released. who knows.
  18. FWIW most XE games can be found in disk/binary form, and in some causes more playable (can anyone say Karateka?). Or was that the 7800 version that was hosed?
  19. Right now there are both working CF and MMC prototypes. Im leaning toward producing the MMC at the moment since the cards are smaller and there are less pins to work with. CF cards seem to have a lot more quirks from brand to brand than the MMC cards I've tested as well. I dont like to make vaporware promises or engage in pre-release hype so I wont speak to the time frame at the moment. The price for a MMC cartridge (Cuttle II) for the 7800 is $200. They are not cheap item to produce in small quantities because of all the components required, but I'm hoping to bring the price down to about half that or less. Runs and orders another one... Lol... I think I'll wait to see what you come up with. I'm sure this one will keep me plenty busy.
  20. Good deal! I hope you have some games to play on that thing. When I firtst got my nomad all I had was the sonic games!! And NO battery pack... Ouch1
  21. Although I have an SIO2PC I just couldn't pass one of these suckers up.. I was tempted to get two, but I think I'll wait for the versions "in testing". But I wanted to show there is an interest in this type of thing, rather than waiting.
  22. Dunno. It's the brown-label Dig Dug cart that I played. It was great! Brown label= version with crappy graphics Gameplay still had some problems though compared to the better "silver label" version.
  23. I got it to work. I just have to press the button firmly.
