    I currently have 57 lynx games, although chances are once I'm done testing them I will only carry a handful around. I was mostly interested in finding a place to keep the "not in use" ones readily available. Without risking damage to my boxes.

    Actually it's my understanding that both lemmings and klax for the lynx are the best handheld versions. I'm currently hooked on klax, lemmings, and robotron. I'll probably get back to crystal mines II eventually..

    that would be me! I'm sure the other systems have better versions, but the VCS is the only system I have with a Miner 2049er game, and I really have no interest in those other systems so the VCS version is just fine to me. Hard as all get out, but just fine! Uh, yeah.... we are talking about the guy who gets a thrill out of being chased by pickles and hot dogs.., uh I mean pixelated blocks of goo..

    It's worse when you want to "LOSE" an auction because you changed your mind. I won like 4 or 5 last night that I would have preferred to loose. But... I'm getting my butt kicked today on auctions, so I guess that makes up for it.

    It was the last one release, but I vaguely remember it having difficulty with 2.5 formatted disks. But it has been years so I may be wrong.

    Hmmmm I wonder if they will fit in gamegear cases as well...

    Yeah I let a boxed w/manual 8-bit gyruss cart slip past me last week... arrrrggghh... Coulda probably got it cheap too!

    almost looks like he bid on one system too many and won them all! I bid by accident on chopper command twice this past week, but at least I'm paying for them.

    oh ok, thank you... cool. I have a index card box laying around that I can try, and plenty of old cd/tape cases too. I'd keep them in the boxes, but I don't wanna accidently rip the top from carelessness.

    I will say that three very important things and once (nice to have item) come with that auction. AC Power Adaptor Battery Pack & Charger Adaptor Battery Case Power Suppler Carrying Case The first three usually do not come with the nomad, the third is nice because of the nomad's size (and the carts). Makes it way easier to take with you on travels.

    Sorry to be running you around in circles. I may be wrong but I think that XE cannot handle the 2.5 enhanced density format (I think 2.5 came out AFTER XE did). Format a blank disk in 2.0 format, (under DOS 2.5) and copy the file over. Then try reading it from DOS XE. It's been years since I messed with XE but I think that is the problem I ran into.

    Wow... I thought that nomad's went pretty cheap on epay.. At least cheaper than what I paid for mine. I see them all the time.. alot of times with games too. No way I'm giving up mine!! I might not use it much, but I like it too much!!
