  1. hehe... all I really need myself is a jag cd (and some games of course), but I'm kinda short on funds right now anyways. But about those pc engines. Could someone explain these things to me? There are so many of them I don't know which ones play what. It's confusing. If I got one I'd prefer one of the smaller ones that can play the most titles possible.
  2. I used it when it first came out, but then I ran into it's limitations. Why copy your dos 2.0 files over if all you do is use it for basic programming? When you want to program pu in your DOS XE disk, and when you want to use your other disks but dos 2.0 or 2.5.
  3. I have the following loose... Missile Command - w/manual Astroblast - loose (once I get my boxed in the mail soon) Asteroids (7800) - loose Donkey Kong (7800) - loose Robotron: 2084 (7800) - loose Frogger - possibly if a deal comes thru and the following 7800 titles if you are even interested... Ballblazer (red end label) - loose Dig Dug - loose Food Fight - loose Hat Trick - loose Jinks - loose Joust - loose Pole Position II - loose Xevious - loose
  4. Looks like those carts are in good condition.
  5. Yeah I just got to thinking that some handhelds are probably like that, unless they have region lockout. Anyone know which handhelds have region lockout?
  6. A little off topic, but anyone know where I can get a tool to open my NES cartridges? I'm not sure where to look.
  7. Sorry... I'm gonna have to put a temporary hold on any further lynx offers. I think I have just about enough to cover everything in this msg and have been getting things mixed up. So once the dust clears I'll update this thread. My apologies. It would not have been so bad, but one "potential deal" was kinda cluttering things up. Well that and my leg has been killing me!
  8. Neat! Yeah I figured it would be a good collectors item (not much practical use). But I think I'll save my money for now. When I started collecting I initially decided to work on the handhelds. Well thanks to rick weiss and a few atari 2600 boxed games I got a little sidetracked. Anyways it's just kinda neat to see 2600 boxed games. I guess I was not really expecting to find any. But I've been having so much fun with all the Lynx games I got recentally, and an XEG with a SIO2PC cable I figured for atari portable goodness I'd be best to curb what spending money I have left on a gamepark handheld.
  9. That's nice and all, but unless your using DOS for something besides maintenance, what is the big deal? If your that concerned buy on of those DOS on a cart thingies. I myself mostly used DOS for disk maintenance and moving files around, but other than that it did not get much use. I guess I don't understand why memory resident is that important. Do you live in DOS when using the computer? Spartados is a much better DOS and also lets you create batch files, and I think even MyDOS can run batch files. Both of those are available on a "cart".
  10. Whooops I was just thinking it was the trackball alone and not a 5200 system as well. As for the two 5200's I sent... I honestly do not remember if it was priority mail or not. I'm pretty sure it was... Not sure what I did with the receipt...
  11. Hehe... I've actually used the SP to look for things in a dark room! Forget the SP... hook up your Atari 2600 to a TV and play some haunted house in the dark with the sound cranked all the way up!!! Woo hoo!!!
  12. Well here is a chance for you to live out your childhood fantasy's!! Sorry couldn't resist a little teasing there...
  13. Ouch!!!! Sorry... postal for that should have been no more then $20... probably somewhere around $15 would be my guess. I sent 2 atari 5200's, and 6 5200 joysticks, in one box for less than that.
  14. hahaha NO FEAR!!!! Yeah I'm being patient about it, I have not made any personal threats to them or their kids. Last message from them was "we are looking for some" Have these people ever heard of something called "inventory tracking"? Maybe I oughta send them my inventory program so they can keep track!
  15. I dunno... once you get one of these things you might like it. The size really is nice!! My cousins confiscated my normal size SNES so I picked up one of the mini's. Although 3 weeks later I managed to get a tristar. Fantastic device!!
  16. Reminds me of some index cards my wife and I was looking at today. I told her no way.... I would go blind!
  17. Man... I was very tempted to go for that 2600 adapter for the 5200 but I'm trying to get away from ebay right now. Decided to spend my money on a backlit gp32. Nothing like portable atari gaming (2600, 8-bit, and ST!!!).
  18. :lmao: Your not the only one that had those thoughts... I was doing fine until the last picture.
  19. Ouch.... way outta my price range... All I need is a Jag CD anyways, got a good Jag deal with 10+ games boxed for less than the starting bid.. Anyways good luck... You'd be surprised at what people pay for Jag's on ebay. You may get something good.
  20. Check out this post if you have not seen it already.. http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=31331
  21. Hey... at least he waits a month.. I see people bump their stuff up daily, which is annoying.
  22. Aww man... that sucks!!! I just sent those games to you, and nothing to play them on..
