  1. I don´t know what causes this, maybe it´s because the video output in the classic consoles has much less resolution than the LCD and the tv needs to upscale it. I was worried about this problem with modern tvs as my old CRT were in its last moments so I bought one Lenkeng scaler (the cheaper, about 50€) and it didin´t do much. Then I decided to look for a second hand 21" CRT that finally cost me less than the scaler. Sorry if my english is not the best!
  2. I think you answered yourself, LCD tvs are crap for classic consoles, you can improve the picture a bit with a scaler but the good ones are expensive and you still will get worse picture than with a CRT tv, even with the filters. Also I´m sure you still can find a decent CRT at a nice price. I personally use a 22" Sony Trinitron CRT tv for classic consoles and a LCD for the actual systems.
  3. What a coincidence, I bought a fake Gorf CD about a couple of years ago on eBay.de and the seller was called High Voltage like you, I wonder if you are that seller....
  4. I´ve been trying all Pang games on MAME and in the first two games (Pang, Super Pang) only Mitchell is named and they´re PCBs. Pang! 3 is a CPS game and Mighty Pang! is a CPS2 game. I looked for Mitchell in the Wikipedia and says they developed the Pang series which were distributed by Capcom in the US so you´re right Cybergoth: http://en.wikipedia....ell_Corporation
  5. My first computer was a Spectrum+ 48k bought second hand by my parents for Christmas in 1990. I still have it and it works but the membrane said goodbye a lot of time ago... I have good memories of it and I used it intensively until I got a SNES four years later. It came with a couple of joysticks and a bunch of games but my favorites were Green Beret and AticAtac, I spent a lot of afternoons playing them.
  6. Nice job, this game looks awesome!
  7. I own one Quickshot similar to the showed abobe but the stick don´t have microswitches... I never knew that there were one with them. The Epyx/Konix 500j is a great joystick and IMO is very confortable, I love it!
  8. I´ve just downloaded it, than you very much for sharing.
  9. I´m new here and couldn´t resist to buy Boulder Dash so I just pre-ordered and paid for one copy. The packaging looks amazing and I´m sure the game is even better, thanks to everybody involved in this release.
