  8. Hi, Does anyone know if the CD is available for purchase? Or if an image/ROM of the Tape has been "dumped" and is available for free or purchase? Thanks, JL Starpath Labyrinth Prototype Revealed July 12, 2003 Posted by Albert Forums | Submit News The Austin Gaming Expo will see the debut of a long-lost Starpath Atari 2600 title, Labyrinth. Labyrinth was listed in an early Starpath Catalog, but was eventually released as Escape From the Mindmaster. Labyrinth is an obvious work-in-progress version of Escape From the Mindmaster, but with many changes from what was finally released (different mazes, sounds, music, etc.). It was recently discovered in an eBay auction with other Starpath titles by Marvin Lambright of the NorthWest Classic Games Enthusiasts. Labyrinth will be released in a DVD-style case in CD form, so it can be easily used with a Supercharger or Cuttle Cart, and will be on display at the AtariAge booth.
  9. A couple years back I purchased a couple of PC Competitors. http://www.competitor.de/ The competitor worked perfectly and supports 2 Joysticks. It also worked with Commodore 64 controllers and Colecovison. Although it's obvious the keypad on the Coleco controller did not work, everything else did. Good luck in finding one ....
  10. Thomas, I am JL. I have not received my Thrust either. Rick
  11. Hi, Does anyone if an adapter is made that will convert 2600 paddles to work on the PC (for use with emulators)??? I've tried making my own from a mouse, and although they work it just does not fell the same. I have an adapter called the PC competitor (http://fsinfo.cs.uni-sb.de/~stahl/com/index_uk.html) that converts atari joysticks for use with a PC. Rick

    Why MIB??

I buy sealed MIB games for the memories plus they display very nice. Nothing brings me back to the day like a sealed Asteroids. JL (very proud of my complete sealed boxed Starpath collection)
  13. Even though that high bid was retracted, the auction is not on the level. Which is not unusual a great deal of e-bay auctions that deal with collectibles have some sort of scam working. Their are many, many, many types of e-bay scams and variations on scams that when in doubt, don't bid. Only someone who is extremely naive, would not believe that a great deal of auctions are "rigged" in some way or another. It's just too easy to do so.
  14. Best - I agree with Starpath's Frogger, it was a near perfect port. Space Invaders and Asteroids (damn good for a raster version of a vector game) were respectable ports even if they did not look exactly like the original. Worst - Tie Donkey Kong and Zaxxon with Pacman a close second.
  15. It does'nt get as many posts as this site but it's the best Colecovision board there is...... http://forums.atari.net/cgi-bin/ubb/forumd...ber=9&SUBMIT=Go

  17. I use emulation with the great PC competitior interface http://fsinfo.cs.uni-sb.de/~stahl/com/#o It's an adapter that allows you to connect 2 Atari joysticks to a PC via the gameport. It also works with colecovision controllers, although the keypad will not function.

    Squoosh Prototype

Look's kind of interesting, too bad it's unfinished. Alex, that for digging this one up. Best, JL
  19. Ken, What "undumped" prototype roms will this include. Thanks, JL
  20. Marco, I can't wait to play this version of Rabbit Transit. I had the original in 1983, and still have it as well as a sealed mint copy. Thanks for bringing this to light. Best, JL

    Sea Battle

The dump to Sea Battle is extremely hard to find on the web, but not impossible. What may be impossible is the dump to SteamRoller for the Colecovision also by Intellivision Production. Any hints on where to find it.......
  22. d8thstar, Great find. From California? I have always been of the opinion that the better know something is, the higher price it will fetch. Without a dump out there, few will remember the proto after this month.... Best of luck for you sale, JL
  23. Hi, I was wondering since AtariAge has posted the roms to Swordfight and Sea Battle by Intellivision Productions.....Is the rom dump to STEAMROLLER for Colecovision available anywhere? i would be most gratefull if someone could e-mail me a hint as to where this could be found. Thanks so much, JL
