Looking for an APX education game called 'ATLAS'
JL replied to Allan's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-400-800-xl-xe-atlas-of-canada_409.html cas and atr are there. If anyone can get this running on MESS, I'd like to know how -
If this had been issued worst that would have occurred was a simple C&D which given the international aspect and how tiny the effort and under the radar never would have occurred. Now that permission was asked it can't happen as now premeditation and intent exist. So to that person who in effect narc'd in the early post - really why did you feel the need to say what you did? really was the need for the holier than the thou comment worth ruining this for the few this would have made happy? Just remember legal does NOT equal moral and vice-versa

Stephen , Thank you for all the time and effort you put into new Stella releases. Nice to use a console emu that is still in active development as so many other efforts are now defunct.

That is what I do. The only way to get exact would be original or custom panel. -

"-=thrust" was that a typo? "?=thrust" I think would be much better. As for myself I customized an old Hotrod SE game pan,; converting to USB, changing from micro switches to leaf and adding a button for hyperspace. A lot more work overall than I described and after all that I still can't break 50K. In that respect nothing had changed since I was 7 -
Page count sounds great. I'm OK with Ads as it was through one in Classic Gamer Magazine back in 1998/1999 that I obtained a INTV [1] Controller Adapter from an outfit in Canada. It used the parallel port and worked with Carl Mueller's the Command Prompt [ok DOS] version of INTV Lives. For at least 4-5 years it was the only way to use INTV 1 controllers for INTV emu.

The Video Craze [whitewillow] - any successful HD transactions?
JL replied to JL's topic in Gaming Publications and Websites
Another AtariAge member contacted me via PM after he communicated with Dave the forerunner of this effort. Apparently mine may have been the only order with an issue - glad that is the case as the documentary looks excellent and I will re-order the Blu-Ray. BTW Folks the Video Craze Where where you in '82 documentary should be up the alley of many on this forum so check the website out and place an order for this quality documentary; http://www.vectorinvaderproductions.com/#!venue/galleryPage -
Hello Folks, Early in Nov I pre-ordered the The Video Craze Documentary Blu-Ray http://www.vectorinvaderproductions.com/#!venue/galleryPage It states on their website a free HD download is included and to email whitewillowfilms@yahoo.com for the password. Which I did. After several days no email and no confirmation of the order other than the email PayPal immediately sends after a transaction. A week later I wrote again to that email as well as ddmd77@live.com [shown in 'contact us' on the website] and waited another week or so - still no response. I waited and wrote again and after several more says still no response. I then filed a PayPal claim. PayPal returned my money shortly thereafter as White Willow Films LLC apparently never responded to them either. After a bit of research I found out I was not the only one they had "ignored".... I see a few hours ago they have updated their Facebook page and website with special prices for today, cybermonday. But what good is a discount if they never both to acknowledge anyone's purchase nor deliver what is promised.? Since Nov 4, Has anyone successfully received a response to their Blu-Ray order and or HD download password? Please no responses if you had successful dealings on the HD or Blu-Ray prior to that date. P.S. I also realize the DVD is available from other vendors but that's not what I'm interested in.

Hello what is link to the Mario controller? I am unable to find on youtube.

What is the significance of 62k? Is it the exposure on this site that got them the push they needed the last 7-8 days? I was surprised that I was unable find anything on this effort at digitalpress especially since Joe is involved with the project. This will the first print edition video game magazine I purchased since my "Classic Gamer Magazine" subscription back in 1999-2001 . I may have found out about that on the old 2600nexus site which of course became atariage. The collector in me hopes these are shipped in a protected manner....

If the Kickstarter Campaign does not make it to $50K , is the project cancelled with no physical magazine? What happens to the funds if Cancelled? Are they returned, or are they lost to those who contributed [the backers]. If "backers" are in no danger of loosing their money then I'm sure many like me will not be hesitant to subscribe for one year at the $30 or $35 level.

goldenegg's answer is correct. As for myself about 8 years back I started to archive to DVD-r [now to bluray-r] my roms + all other pertinent files before I go to a new version. Since I only update after every 2-3 new releases this works for me.

D'OH!!! Found my issue. I had an old Stello.pro file still in my Stella root from the old days .... removed and all is fine. Man for 2 years I missed that.....
-
Thanks stephena! You are serious the best emu developer. Question; does anyone have a way to rename the snapshots found on stella.sourceforge.net/downloads.php to match the file names in the Stella Internal Database ? This has been driving me crazy for years but yet I never asked until now
-
You need versions of the roms that are correct for MAME32b-036. Majority of Mame roms have changed multiple times since 036 was released in 1999. Current downloads will likely fail audit. regarding becoming unusable one by one seems as if your problem is further reaching than a MAME issue

stephena, Huge Thanks for all your time and efforts making Stella the excellent emu it is today. Will give Dragonstomper and the Superchargers a spin....

Nope. Many years ago it was mentioned by Albert that it would be when an unspecified amount of carts were sold. My opinion is if Albert made the ROM(s) available for say a $2.00 donation to the site he would have many takers. Probably bring in more $ than Turbo cart sales from the last 2 years and then some. Yes a few unscrupulous folk might still try to get it from free from someone who has the ROM and of course it could easily make it's rounds on the web but I'd bet at least 90% of members here who want it would give the donation.

If this keeps up it'll be as common as Combat or ET

Microsoft has no idea what they're doing anymore.

Man I think I'm actually now glad that I don't buy modern consoles due to 3D games giving me serious simulator sickness......
