  1. Wrecking Crew is a very underrated, forgotten gem from the black box collection. It's a Mario/Luigi platformer, puzzler with even a level creator to make your own maps. Edit: Also, Ice Climber is another fun, overlooked one.
  2. I would donate at least $50 to a project like this.
  3. Megabump. I've been playing this game a lot lately. To me it's one of the best puzzle games for any system and almost no one seems to have played it or even heard of it. Some of the later stages get damn tough. The level design is just superb. One of the coolest features of the game is the Design mode in which you get to design your own levels and save them to play at any time. My only real issue with the game is the ability to get stuck when you make an object unreachable. The game should have been programmed to recognize these instances and then automatically killed off the player and restarted the level. Also to note is the good music -- simple, fun and memorable. If anyone knows of any interviews with the creators of the game or commentary by them, I would love to read them.
  4. Unfortunately, it's usually the case that the package was "lost in transit" when it doesn't change status like that for several [business] days.
  5. I did a search and this game doesn't seem to have a mention on these boards. It's called Perspective. It was created by students at DigiPen. This is the same school that released Narbacular Drop (which became Portal) and Tag: The Power of Paint (the Mobility Gels in Portal 2 were adopted from this game). Perspective is one part first-person 3D puzzler and another part 2D, third-person platformer. You use the first-person view to find a workable path in order to guide the 2D sprite to the goal. The concept may seem familiar if you've played games like Echochrome, Fez, and others, but it employs perspective puzzle-solving in a fresh, original way. The level design is fantastic. The game starts simple and progressively trains your mind to view things in a more complicated manner. The music is also top notch. It's really hard to believe that a game like this was the product of the final project of a few undergrad students. It can be beaten in around an hour first time through (or even much faster) so I really encourage people to try this one out. I also highly recommend Tag: The Power of Paint (to which I linked above). Download: https://www.digipen.edu/?id=1170&proj=25930
  6. If you can, you should post a video. It'd be neat to see you power it on and play a level or two so we can get an idea of just how fun this thing is.
  7. SpaceMaster X-7 is a brilliant game that should be far more well known. Not only is the game play superb, but the sound effects are just awesome.
