End of cooperation with Lotharek
TheNameOfTheGame replied to candle's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Oh Lord, there is no need for such drama. Lotharek, if you read this, take a deep breath and let the tempers cool down. Raise the price $4 on the candle's developments and write up a new contract to stipulate the details so he gets compensated as such and everybody wins. I doubt any sales will be lost if the price is $4 higher especially if people know the reason for the increase. My goodness.- 292 replies

End of cooperation with Lotharek
TheNameOfTheGame replied to candle's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
All because of $4 a unit? That's unfortunate. With inflation nowdays, he could just raise the price by $5 a unit and no one would notice. -
Thanks, looks good!

Anyone interested in Atari ST magazine?
TheNameOfTheGame replied to eebuckeye's topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
The magazines arrived. Thanks to @eebuckeye for packing them so well. The good news is that there are multiple unscanned issues of ST Informer that can be preserved and @DLH-Bombjack is happy to scan them in for his archive. And some ST Informer magazine disks which I haven't seen anywhere. Also, 4 unscanned issues of Current Notes (hopefully @Allan is still interesting in scanning them). There are also a couple of miscellaneous magazines that I don't see having an archive for on the Internet. I checked AtariAge, Atari Compendium and archive.org. Does anyone know of archives for these titles?: ST Express Journal ST Atari Advantage So a great find. It will be great to get them preserved! -
New game adaptations
TheNameOfTheGame replied to ParanoidLittleMan's topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
Peter has released two new adaptations on his site: Armada http://8bitchip.info/atari/SCRSH/armada.html Xchess http://8bitchip.info/atari/SCRSH/xchess.html Thanks, Peter! -
New game adaptations
TheNameOfTheGame replied to ParanoidLittleMan's topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
For those not checking Peter's forum (and why aren't you - releases are announced there first), there are 4 new releases out at the usual spot. Ace Invaders Incantation Vector Invaders BMX Simulator For my BMX Simulator adaptation, I asked Peter if he could host the file since I think it is good to have all the HAGA adaptations in one place and I have no interest in hosting a web site. 😄 Plus, with it being on Peter's site, you get the normal Hi-Color loading screens added and a dedicated web page with youtube example video, etc. Go check it out if you haven't already. -
New game adaptations
TheNameOfTheGame replied to ParanoidLittleMan's topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
Well, unfortunately I don't have the source for his work on Micro League Baseball, so that wouldn't be possible. As for this topic, I agree it should be locked and a new one started. Too much negativity and thread-drift in this one. Best if it was put to rest. Mods, what say you? -
New game adaptations
TheNameOfTheGame replied to ParanoidLittleMan's topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
Just to be clear, I was working with Peter to learn his haga system even before all this drama happened. It just happens that now the first game is done :). -
New game adaptations
TheNameOfTheGame replied to ParanoidLittleMan's topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
Ok, back on topic. I am happy to present my first hdd game adaptation - BMX Simulator. Many thanks to Peter for his invaluable help understanding his haga system and answering my many questions (and helping me with some stupid errors 😄)! To adapt the game, the floppy protection was removed, exit to desktop/save state was added, and cheat option to select starting level is available. Feedback/comments are welcome. BMXSIMU.zip -

Albert's in a banning mood it appears. I would say discretion is the better of valor when posting. Although this thread *has* gone off the rails tbh. Hope it is just a temp ban. -

Yeah, let's hope he is reinstated here soon. C'mon mods. Btw, I see 4 new adaptations on his website. Skrull Nova Fun School 4 u5y Midi Maze Peter, if you are reading this, thank you for the new files! -

Anyone interested in Atari ST magazine?
TheNameOfTheGame replied to eebuckeye's topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
I can't read all the issue #s, but some of the ST Informer that I can see haven't been scanned yet. It would be good if whoever buys them could get them preserved. See this thread https://forums.atariage.com/topic/288486-st-informer-magazines-for-archiving/. User DLH-Bombjack is the one archiving them and he does a great job. He returns the magazine after scanning if requested. -
"Collection", right got it. Reading through this very entertaining thread am I awful for lol'ing at that? 😄

Have XE Touch in my 130XE and it's great. My STEs and Falcons have the TT Touch ones as well. Recommended upgrade! -
