  1. If it takes time to warm up and display, you will likely need to replace the capacitors. As the CRT display operates on high-voltage, you will need to discharge the monitor flyback before working on it or risk painful electrical shock or even death. If you are unsure, try to find an old-school tv repairman in your area to do the job for you.

  2. Does it happen when the vecadapt is not plugged in? Permanently pressed or glitching buttons can be a sign of your sound chip failing. It's an easy fix - just replace the chip (providing your sound chip is socketed on the Vectrex PCB).

  3. Update adds 4 save slots for different sounds.

    Controls :

Left/Right on joystick to select sound register.

    Button retriggers the hardware envelope.

Button 4 and joystick L/R to change values.

Button 3 changes values in steps of 10, Button 2 steps of 100.

You can save into 4 slots by holding down on the joystick and pressing button 1-4. You can load these slots by holding up on the joystick and pressing buttons 1-4 to recall.

  4. Awesome, but how do hook up a trackball to my vectrex?

Plug an Atari CX-80 or CX-22 (i think, don't have one of these to test) to Vectrex Port 2. Buttons 3 + 4 on the Vectrex controller to fire.

  5. Updated to version 1.01. This adds a couple fun new options to change the size of the goals and to allow bullets also to pass through the portals on the side of the screen.
