    Why can't Microsoft write game installers that aren't a big steaming pile of Odie crap? Epic and Valve can do it.

      Installer packages for Windows have been overly complicated for years.  I have some stories . . .  I'm interested in the scenario you ran into.  Are you installing from the Xbox app?  Is this something classic?

      Yeah, Xbox app. Tried installing Forza 4 but just hangs. The Microsoft Store installer has never been great at installing games either, with regular hangs and downright failures.
