  2. Ok, so here are a couple pics. One is of the pcbs with the correct connecting wires exposed for ground, left and right; in order from left to right. In other words 1,2 &12. The same as the solder points that would have been used. The other pic is of the rotary/switch assembly attached. Ground from the rotary and left/right from the rotary, to the switch then to the correct wires. Hope these help!
  3. I'm actually building a duo front mounted dial version with switch for a customer this weekend. I'll snap a pic before I close it up and post it here. Probably tomorrow morning.
  4. I had The same problem when I try to use the solder points as well. That's why I only use the wires connecting the two separate circuit boards. I just remove the covering of the wires a little and connect the rotary leads there.
  5. Had the same problem. Exactly the same. Could not get my system to play a CD-R without a bypass solution. I burned a cracked version of the bios to an m27c020 eprom and switched out the bios eprom on the JagCD board. Viola, problem solved. I've heard said that the bios eprom on most JagCD models are socketed, making for a solder free solution to this problem. My JagCD bios eprom wasn't socketed, so removing the bios eprom was a little harrowing. I ended up adding a socket though. In the end it was a pretty easy fix. I have a bunch more EPROMs with the bios burned to them already if anyone wants to give it a try. jcdb.bin
  6. Works great split and burned to 2 m27c160s and thrown into a standard socketed 2 chip pcb. All 16 levels boot no problem. Some screen garbage, quick mech portrait then I'm in. Super fun actually. Unlimited ammo as far as I can tell and all weapons available.

  8. I have a kit, but I'm too N00b to figure out the instructions
  9. I just ordered a bunch of 74hc244's so I'll be able to fix this problem myself for anyone who might run into it with one of my rotaries. So far, out of the 100's I've built over the last 4 years, Machine is the only one who's ever contacted me about it.
  10. Here's the older version of TRF, quite older than the Beta version I posted a few months ago. Single round matches 8 selectable characters Single background stage 2 player or 1 player (against brain dead ai) It's a glitchy, janky mess, but it exists. Check it out if you're interested. TRFA.rom
  11. Some interesting special moves are starting to pop up. Each character has a 4-5 hit auto combo by pressing down, forward+punch quickly.

  13. Some important code in this rom that doesn't exists anywhere else, apparently. Have at it, guys! HVSCMAZE.rom
  14. I'm sorry, what's in the description is all that I know about this cart. TXG/MNX might know more about it.
  15. Sorry, it's been brought to my attention that this is actually the beta (and most complete) version of the game.
  16. Check it out and don't forget to have fun! 2 player only 4 characters Selectable stages Single round matches trf1.rom
  17. I'm not saying that what I'm doing has anything to do with Mr. Kelly. I just think it's a good selling model to avoid expensive flipping and widen the base. That is to say for new projects. Wouldn't it be great if new casual Jaguar fans could peruse eBay (as they do) and bump into new releases direct from the devs at reasonable prices and in plentiful quantities? Habitual flippers/resellers would loose their market completely. Isn't that what we all want? Again, this is and was just a suggestion and has nothing to do with me. I have permission from Duranik for Native, by the way. Got something from Tursi coming soon as well. I've also been contacted for production on a couple of other projects.
  18. Sean Kelly singlehandedly killed this this kind of stuff with his Vectrex multicarts by using eBay to sell his carts in plentiful quantities at an affordable price. Smart move I'd say.
  19. I disagree, I'm not selling their work, I'm distributing it at cost, in a format that is consumable by 100% of all Jaguar fans.
  20. I did mention AA in my first $30 BIN listing, as well as my plan, intentions and motivations. This will be in every BIN listing. If you ask around in the right circles, (if anyone decides to chime in here, feel free) you'll find that I've been using this $30/25 free shipping model for a couple months already. Unfortunately I needed a larger sum to get things going, and a couple of old fashioned eBay L@@K RARE!!! auctions were necessary. I'm sorry. The buyer understands my plan and backs me 100%. What I'm doing will keep other eBay sharks from putting up a Tiny Toons etc. for $100
  21. My intent is to offer strange titles, unknown to the new Jag fan as an invitation to the scene just under the surface. Exposing these titles to the new fans at cost is a great way to show them how deep the rabbit whole really is. There is a rich and interesting history here that can be enjoyed. Setting up artificial barriers to entry only keep the scene from growing. Content creators get free distribution of their work & no one profits from it, hopefully to spur them on to larger projects with formal releases. It only serves to widen mindshare of the unique Jaguar community. I've never made any money on my rotaries. All money made goes right back into the project. New fans are coming, there's no doubt in that. Do we want them playing Rayman and Iron soldier forever or do we want to get them here to learn more?
  22. Heh, I've worked out a pleasing solution to our very generous anonymous benefactor. Thank you, neo_rg for doing the important and creative work that will make bringing once elusive titles to the hands of average joe jagfan. Joe Jagfan doesn't come here for cool Jag stuff, he goes to eBay. Hopefully playing this stuff will spark some creativity in himself and lead him here for the knowledge and support to create his own games! Really looking forward to seeing a big paradigm shift in the Jag scene. It's right around the corner. Ever wonder why Jaguar system and games prices are going up? New buyers. Supply and demand gentlemen. Have you seen this recent listing? The description gives a good synopsis of my motives. https://www.ebay.com/itm/272365511016
  23. Or how about $30 free shipping? Stay tuned, about to blow this scene wide open.
