  1. Any chance of there being some kind of "Name This Game" contest once the game is completed? Or is the title "Man Goes Down" official?
  2. You can count me in for a copy of Lord of the Rings!
  3. That's actually a pretty cool idea. And when you lose, it cuts to a scene of Carl getting a moon-spanking.
  4. Wow, that's impressive...my highest is 61 on the original binary!
  5. Yeah, as far as I can tell too. Hey, has anyone managed to get past the blue level yet?
  6. This game is looking fantastic so far, but that blue level is waay too hard. And I agree with Stan Jr. about the skateboard being the better of the two items. If I could somehow manage to get either of them by the time I reached the blue level the skateboard would definitly be the most useful. In place of the heli-copter, I would rather there be a jack-hammer or something which allows you to go through the platforms. Which brings me to another suggestion. How about adding the ability to jump? Sometimes that last fruit is so close yet so far away--the ability to jump would give you an extra chance to finish the set and earn the special item. Just my two cents. Keep up the good work.
  7. A Yule Log is basically just a fireplace, usually decorated for the holidays with stockings hanging from the mantle. I just thought it would be cool to have a fireplace with a moving fire dancing around in it with some festive holiday music playing in the background.
  8. Looks good, but I had my heart set on a Yule Log.
  9. Okay, here's how I'm picturing the"Atari Yule Log": A festive, crackling fire in the center with a brick fireplace bordering the screen. Along the top of the screen will be a row of Christmas stockings with the Atari logo on them. I'm not sure how many different songs will be possible, but I'd personally like to hear "Silent Night". What do ya think?
  10. Cool idea. How about an Atari Yule Log complete with Christmas music! That would be awesome!!!
  11. The game is really simple, and a bit silly, but theres something really addictive about it...especially when you get to burninate the village and see the peasants running around with their heads on fire! Playing it on the greatest video game system ever made would make it even better!
  12. I guess the game would look more like the original on the 5200, but I would still like to see a 2600 version. One because I cant find a pair of decent 5200 controllers, and two, the 2600 is my favorite . I dont think the game is too complicated for the 2600, and I think most people would agree, that you wont find better controllers than those of the Atari 2600. Perhaps if Mr. Slocum's HSR RPG is successful, which I'm sure it will be, he would consider "TROGDOR!" for a later project (hint hint...if you are reading this Mr. Slocum )
  13. For those who don't know, Trogdor (from homestarrunner.com) is a dragon with a beefy arm coming out of the back of his neck...and he RULES! He also has his very own videogame, which I think would make for an excellent 2600 translation. Check out the game below: http://www.homestarrunner.com/trogdor.html I would sure love to "Burninate" the countryside on my 2600.
