  2. you should open up the back of that... if memory serves me correctly, there should be a JAMMA harness inside there. i could be wrong tho, so dont hate me if there isnt
  3. just put up a thread in the marketplace for it http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/149984-free-pole-position-cab-in-south-shore-ma-area/ if your seriously interested, PM me for contact info
  4. Located in East Milton Square. havent seen it personally so i cant comment on its condition, but its the upright version. but even if its junk it would be a sweet restore or you could part it out. Needs it out by the end of sept. One thing: you would have to pick it up and you would have to haul it off. If youre seriously interested, PM me for contact info
  5. how can you be "honest" when youre using "virtual systems" and rom files?
  6. a guy i work with entered in one of those tourneys.... said it was for the "elite". he ended up getting TROUNCED. couldn't have happened to a nicer guy
  7. dont forget! if youre hooking up the model 2 SCD with the SG/32X, you need a power supply with EACH COMPONENT. Then when the monster awakens, can you enjoy your games. seriously tho, all those cords are ridiculous. looks like the system is in the intensive care unit with all of the wires and tubes coming out the back of it
  8. Any idea if it emus "Super GT"? It was my favorite arcade racing game next to daytona but sadly it didnt get a home port
  9. Darkthur is right... i was referring to the tuner itself. The GG is fine - still break mine out every so often for sits on the "thinking throne" or for the occasional games of "columns". it still holds plenty of value for me. sorry for the confusion VERY nice collection of GG's by the way!
  10. i remember seeing a white one with the tuner on the bay go for huge money a while back. funny how those things are absolutely useless now
  11. its either dipshit mothers, drunk dads, drug addicts, screaming kids, the corporate office shitting on you for EVERYTHING... all day I can sit on here all day and tell you about how ridiculously monotonous the work can be, or how inconsiderate and disrespectful customers can be, but it wont serve any purpose other than giving some jackass ammunition to tell me that im either making up excuses for the company or im trying to defend what other dipshit employees do when theyre on the clock personally, i dont take things out on the customers, but the temptation is there; people can be plain assholes. we have a play n trade about 45 minutes away from us, and we used to be on good terms with them. i traded in a vast amount of PS1, genesis, snes, sega cd, and saturn games to get $$$ to buy my first 360. the guys working there were awesome - they knew their shit, and were street fighter fans to boot! then, seemingly out of nowhere, those same guy just did a complete turn around. i dont mind directing people there if they're unhappy with something they see at my store. i think its better customer service if you direct them to another store because it shows that youre not gonna treat them like "potential revenue" @Lord Thag - Im a horrible seller so i dont even attempt to, and i dont push it on my staff... ive been there 6 years
  12. kinda off-topic but not really... metal gear solid for PS1 has a typo in it as well. in one of the mission briefings, "Snake" is misspelled "Sanke"
  13. :rolling: :rolling: Absolutely AMAZING! laughed for 10 minutes... top shelf! A jokes a joke, bad taste or not. if someone wants to make a joke about someone (living or dead), go for it. if people think its funny, they should be able to laugh at it and not get castrated by the rest of the community because their sense of humor isn't in line with the majority. Two words for you: Grow up. They've been making jokes about him for years, and its not gonna stop just because hes dead - Live with it.
  14. You always knew you were getting something good when you went up to the cage at the front of the store
  15. Link Its a really obnoxious color... thats why it looked interesting
  16. I realize it for mother's day and all, and id be buying it for myself. but for $150/$160, i might as well buy a DSi, but still want to play my GBA games. Anyone else thinking of getting this?
  17. ususally whatever doesn't kill you makes you hate the world that much more ...or so ive been told. im a pretty happy individual
  18. Stitch: is that arcade still around???? my gf is from farmingdale and we usually go down a few times a year... would love to see that raiden fighters candy...
  19. Ive moved around a lot so there were a few - I'll try to go in chronological order (forgive me if i don't remember the names of some of them.): A bowling alley on Sothern Artery in Quincy, MA - the first arcade I ever went to. started my obsession with "Rolling Thunder" and "Hang-On" - long since closed down The Brunswick Bowling Alley in Burlington, MA - Started going here when MKII was new, also played my first neo geo here. Fast forward about a decade... Good Times Emporium in Somerville, MA - Getting drunk, saying rude things to fat chicks, and playing third strike on shitty cabinets... also closed down
  20. word of caution about those sticks: replace the stick and the buttons. the stock ones are SHIT
  21. And if I see someone that looks like that, I am TOTALLY gonna try and sleep with her
