  1. its either a consolized MVS (which, provided its the correct board, CAN be used with the AES sticks/pads), or a supergun. if its a supergun, then make sure it looks halfway decent, and not like some of the abominations ive seen arounds the 'nets Which baseball stars is it? if its the first one, then it shouldnt drive the price up too much. if its 2 or professional, then it may increase the lot's value. if you can get pics, take them
  2. Are you talking about the g-pak? those things are great
  3. So basically I'm trying to do some Atari collecting this year, but im really only looking into (mostly) common carts because i actually want to PLAY the games. Emulation is fine, but I find myself leaning towards playing the games on actual hardware. I tried to keep things in the R1-R3 range as best I could. I realize some of this is gonna be a long shot, but i figured I'd try anyways. I dont always have the cash available (I get paid every two weeks, got rent to pay, girlfriend, etc.), so trades are sort of a very last option for me. 2600 Activision: Commando Enduro Kaboom! 4. I'll agree with you on the model 2, but the genesis 3 that i have has extremely crisp video using the the AV
  5. I have a very small 2600 collection, but within that i have a a good number of duplicates. they're all R1 and some are missing the end label... the defender and combat are missing the ends... May question is: is there any good ideas as to how get rid of these? i plan on grabbing some more systems and games and dont want dupes to become an issue, but i dont want to throw them out. any suggestions???
  6. Nah, it was the end of Star Trek. After all, what does ET have to rely on for exclusives without one of the spinoffs in production on the back lot? Well... there's britney... or pat o'brian... i heard he likes it rough... CONGRATURATION!!! I have successfully killed the joke!
  7. I believe the departure of one John Tesh was the Death Knell for that once-beloved institution

  9. Oh SHIT! Just observe a coulple of the posts that get put up in "war room"... some of its some funny stuff, but a lot of it kills me a little bit inside
  10. my buddy has one of those "big reds"... he has a shit load of games for it too. I, on the other hand, have a one slot in a converted "Super High Impact Football" cab, and about 8 games Youre a lucky man
  11. because of the small shelf space that i have, im forced to rotate systems on a regular basis. right now i have my 360, saturn and 2600 hooked up. about a week ago i had my original xbox, snes, nes, 2600 (again), and genesis 3 hooked up. it varies from time to time because my tastes change constantly
  12. Thwe one in grosse point blank was the PC version ive seen that quake cab before, too
  13. There was?! ive been playing this game for just about a decade and have never seen an arcade game. where exactly did you see this
  14. I was poking around some other forums and from what I understand, Yu Suzuki has this version (which I guess is complete) and the earlier version. Hes always been pretty tight lipped about everything hes done, but i dont know why this is coming out now. i really hope this gets released in some form, because it would be awesome to have the better of the VF games on one system. THIS would be the reason to mod my saturn
  15. I dunno how many saturn fans there are here, but found this a few days ago and thought it was interesting Apologies if its a repost
  16. If I'm not mistaken, i think you may have to have another (chip-modded) XB in order to upgrade the HD on a softmod. This might help, but you may need to join the forums so you can use the search function...
  17. I'm thinking about buying a 7800 with a few games, so for shits and giggles i looked on the 'bay to see what people were selling them for. surprise surprise, shipping is outrageous, but what bothered me the most is that a lot of the starting bids were $50+! i checked the 2600 listings and the same thing. a lot of the times the auctions were ending fairly shortly and no one had bid on the higher priced systems. This was a perfect example im almost tempted to email some of these guys and make them what i think is a fair offer, but part of me thinks that it would be just a waste of time because if theyre that stubborn that they think that they can get that high a price for a vintage system, then theres a good chance that i wont even get a response Would this be a good idea, or would i just be wasting my time? and why do these people think that they have some sort of holy grail that they honestly think that someone will pay that high a price?
  18. i was thinking of picking up strat-o-gems (i played the rom of it not too long ago), but if theres gonna be some kind of sale, i might as well hold off till then
  19. just get an MVS... buy a cab, consolize it, whatever... its cheaper and a lot more fun to day that youre playing an actual arcade game in your living room
  20. +1... there might be very very few games that may climb a bit back up in price, but not much
  21. i had a copy of crazy climber that my parents got for my brother from the atari club... wish i still had it now, tho
