i am deliberatly an asshole when someone insists they kno more than me about videogames. i know a good deal, and im sure there are people here that know 10x more than i ever will, but people like that really piss me off. so i guess i pretty much start the nerd war.

The panther is awesome... take some time with it for the FPS's... IMO, its second only to a keyboard and mouse for shooters on a console. it a bitch tho because you pretty much have to re-map all of the buttons to try to find a config that your happy with. if you havent yet, id say pick it up

i usually narrow my search to a specific catagory. im almost-exclusivly shooters, so i tend to find a lot of unkown companies (like seismic, who made "hellfie" - awesome game ) and learn that they didnt make a whole helluvalotta games for it, or really any system for that matter.

somewhat inexpensive... ive seen a few of the more rare titles going for about 10-20. its a fantastic system, easy to collect for and still to this day a helluvalotta fun.

i always thought of the pico as one of those strange anomalies - you cold play games on it, but it wasn't technically a system (like the sega cd or 32x). personally i wouldnt own one, but its your collection so go with what you want

I think that just some of the regular enemies in that game make up for the lack of bosses - some of them are pretty friggin tough BTW, isn't III considered a "side story" because of what little relation it has to I and II?

one thing you dont want to do (and a lot of guys on the neo forums might agree with me) is take your system to neotropolis. hes too expensive and a lot of his work could be done cheaper by a lot of other people. my roomate actually had his 4 slot consolized by him. my roomate wanted a brushed aluminum cover and it took neotropolis 4 months to do the job. my friend was pissed b/c it ended up actually costing him much more than neotropolis originally quoted him

i will give you that - the first model system did indeed look very nice. but define "looking cheap" for the second model...

The original saturn controller was absolute trash! the L and R buttons never felt like they were working, the d-pad sucked and it HURT, and the controller itself felt cheap and already broken out of the box. i love the second model controllers

I thought it was hilarious when they pitted an adult against a child - you should have prolly figured out that trying out for the show was a mistake when you noticed that the audience was full of (what sounded like) CHILDREN. It was also a little creepy, too... Grown man being so close to a child and it wasnt related to him ::Shudder::

All those capcom fighting games fucking rocked on the jap. saturn... do yourself a favor, pick up the VS. games for that and some of the SNK fighters... great ports. Shooters, too. Radient silvergun is still up there, but layer section/galactic attack are still (moderately) low
