  1. Hey Eastbayarb, RGBGamer, Mario64 or whatever you're calling yourself this week.

Please don't bring NG.com into this.

You STILL haven't answered their question of WHY you have used 4 different usernames on different forums.

Don't look at AA and think you can get away with your scamming bullshit.

  2. The best Saturn to buy is any you can get your hands on.

I usually buy my gaming systems modded, so when I picked up a Sega Saturn, I got a modded one so that I could play the American and foreign releases. To me, it is well worth the extra money so that I don't have to worry about memory issues...

How difficult is it for you to change a battery?

  3. Hi. Total newb here with no idea where to put this. I have a working Vectrex console (with a box, but no packing material) and several cartridges with manuals and overlays but no boxes (Web Wars, Cosmic Chasm, Spike, Blitz, Star Trek, Star Castle, Starhawk,Clean Sweep,Scramble,Space Wars). Any thoughts on worth and best place to sell them? Should I be selling them as a group or individually? I was looking at selling to Lukie games - anybody have experience selling to them? Thanks in advance!

    Good, a new member.

Sounds like they'll be making a B-Line for the Marketplace.

    goooooOOOOOOO SCAMMERS!

  4. The manual, etc was all written by myself and one other guy that worked at Nexoft at the time. We didn't have the internets then so it was completely just us looking at the Japanese game and coming up with a "story" for the US version! lol

I would read that manual cover to cover whenever I rented that game as a kid.

Any other stories from that time? You would have a captivated audience in me if you decided to spill beans. I'm a huge fan of all that behind-the-scenes type stuff.

  5. MKII for the Genesis plays faster than the SNES version, at the loss of color, sounds, animation frames in win poses, etc. the 32x version is the closest youre going to get to the arcade version. the music in both versions, however is amazeballs if you prefer genesis music to SNES music.

Street Fighter II is very playable on the genesis. it looks and sounds better on the SNES by leaps and bounds, but playability-wise the two are on even ground.

ESWAT is a great arcade port, but sega changed a lot bringing it home, almost making an entirely different game. The did the same with Shadow Dancer, and Treco gave the same treatment to Atomic Robo-Kid (which is a great platformer itself.)

A lot of the Namco ports were great. I LOVE Burning Force and Phelios on the Genesis.

Pick up Grind Stormer/V-Five if you can. AWESOME vertical shooter that lets you change the play mechanics from the option menu.

The superscaler ports (AFII, OR, etc) leave a LOT to be desired. Theyre too slow/choppy for me to get a lot of enjoyment out of them. The old girl just couldn't keep up with the speed those games needed. get the 32x version of AFII NOW.
