i loved the old GB. it didnt matter that the screen trailed like a sonuvabitch or that i had to play DIRECTLY under a light to see it. Super Mario Land was awesome, and Metroid II is STILL one of the best Metroid--hell, HANDHELD--games I've ever played. my interest in handheld games died a horrible death the day i got my SNES and my SGB. the GB sat on a shelf, barely touched. even the mighty Game Gear, which was amazing in its own right, got barely used... which explains why my original GG's screen still looks pretty damn good. oddly enough, I bought a PSP with the sole purpose of modding it to play retro handheld games. These spoiled bastard kids dont know how good they have it. the DS and the Vita are a friggin' joke IMHO.

I almost bought a cart of that from someone here for dirt. its a repro/hack/pirate/whatever. decided against it because i dont need ANOTHER mario game in the collection.

the PAL PS2 spines look sexy as all hell, very nice.

I like hearing what he has to say about the shitty games that ive played myself over the years - kinda like it validates why I hate them so much. But I liked Castlevania 2 and LOVE the 32X, he didnt, but thats cool; they're still some of my favorite AVGN videos. It's parody, nothing more. And its entertaining as all hell. I'm sure he's getting sick of doing them and worrying about trying to please the (vocal) majority of viewers who find it more entertaining to scrutinize rather than enjoy. To them I say "Grow up".
