  1. Neo-Geo AES. No one I knew had one, but i knew from Gamepro and EGM that it was an arcade-perfect system. When I got older, I bought a consolized MVS with the unibios so i could switch between the arcade version or home version of the same game without switching carts. not exactly what i wanted, but considering that the homecarts retained alot of their value, i think im good. I'm 30... I feel old when they either remake/reboot games that came out when i was a kid, or re-release games like "DooM" on XBLA and call it "retro"...
  2. SEGA is in danger of going belly-up... not too confident in that "Shenmue" remake

  3. magazines like gamepro and egm got this for reviews i would assume
  4. he knows his stuff, so it must be some ultra-rare pirate game

  6. I think i read somewhere that he stopped working for hudson a long time ago and that he was still making the random paid appearance at events and trade shows. That man's legacy rivals "Segata Sanshiro". Its sad to see Hudson go, but they made the PCEngine, and theres enough games on that to keep someone like me entertained for YEARS. They had a good run.
  7. as silly as it sounds, considering that the products (im considering the hoodie, too ) are of professional (?) quality and with no delays in shipping, and without sounding like an asshole, it actually would. ...and if the hoodie came in red... but im picky
  8. how is the actual quality on the transfers? im only asking because that sms faceplate shirt looks sweet, but the price is putting me off a tad
  9. 1. My arcade collection w/ supergun - being able to say that you can play arcade games in your own home is always awesome 2. Consolized MVS - same as above, but 10x more awesome because its Neo-Geo 3. PC-Engine Duo-R - bought it boxed and mint a few years back and havent regretted it 4. Genesis II/Sega CD/32X combo - Works FLAWLESS, and came with 2 of all of the connections (even the ones for the first model Genesis) 5. Rolling Thunder for NES - This is more sentimental to me: This was the only game that I was able to save from my orginal collection when the rest of it got destroyed in storage
  10. posted in the "wanted" section, looking for a famicom

    WTB: Famicom

Just looking for a bare-bones, working (!), complete, and (hopefully) non-yellowing system. Having the box doesnt really matter, as long as the system works and its not too dirty/damaged. I'm NOT looking to break the bank on this, but I'm sick of seeing awesome deals on the 'bay, and having them be in Japan, which would add about another $80 USD to the cost just to have it shipped. I'm looking to spend UNDER $100 With that being said, if you have any games youd wanna throw in as freebies, I sure as hell wouldnt complain
  12. Is someone still selling something in this thread?
  13. do you service Nomads? the speaker on mine is making this terrible buzzing sound
  14. ah, the 3D0... the "black sheep" of the 90's consoles. ive always considered getting one, but never saw enough games to keep me interested. amazing collection nonetheless
  15. http://www.nongnu.org/freedoom/ FreeDooM gives you a modified IWAD (the main .wad that each particular game uses), that still works with user made WADS and mods. essentially, it give you a free alternative to trying to track down the physical copies of the game. and because the sounds, textures, etc. are not the originals, its all nice and legal. the levels that they made for freedoom are actually pretty good on their own as well
  16. SUPER PISSED that my "Sinistar" Avatar is gone...

    1. Mxyzptlk

      Mxyzptlk

Albert gave it to someone else, I don't remember who.

    2. Cobra Kai

      Cobra Kai

I lost a nice ATARI logo unique to Jaguar Raiden with the forum upgrade. Now I can't find it online anywhere to save, and I lost the old file on my old laptop that doesn't boot anymore. I liked that avatar, had it for at least 6 years
