  1. Some very mature posts here lately.. good to see some things don't change.

I remember getting banned from another Phoenix thread, after pre-ordering early, for daring ask why there was an assumption that most people would get two.  Very professional.  Saved myself a lot of money not supporting this or their games anymore.  So, though I'm but a wee single person, that hurt sales too, big picture.  If only it made a different to something other than my wallet.

    Let the banhammer drop again!

  2. I've never heard of Dazzler.

My grandparents lived in North Arlington, NJ with their backyard next to a bowling alley parking lot.  You'd walk out their back door, take a few steps, walk up some some concrete steps, where they basically had a raised garden... the fence at the top of these steps had a locked gate, and upon unlocking it, you were in the back part of the parking lot.  Walk around to the front, they had their few games spread out in the usual spots.  This bowling alley is where I first saw several games, Donkey Kong included.  It was awesome.

Press P1 to insert coin. Press P2 to insert the second coin. Press P2 to start a two player game.

Interesting.  I only tried it on two games this morning.   Centipede takes multiple presses of P1 to even register the first credit.  It then DID register the second with P2, but that took about four tries.

I tried it with an add-on game (Phoenix), but it did not work.

  4. I don't know what I'm missing here, so I'll probably feel dumb when I hear an answer.

For two-player games like Centipede, you can hit 1P Start and it will give you one credit.  I see nothing happens when I press 2P Start.  Holding the joystick down + 1P Start adds more credits.  When I try to add a second credit before starting, it starts as a one-player game.

How can I start it off with two players (i.e. how add two credits pre-game)?

Several firmware updates back it was moved under BYOG. Once your USB stick is read, look there. You can put your games in folders now too, which helps. I like alphabetical folder groupings.

Thank you.  I figured that out last night (I hadn't read this reply yet).. I updated firmware again, then tried the stick, then found it under BYOG.

Forgive the repetition, as I'm sure it's been asked... can the games be put on the LU permanently, or do I need a USB stick each time?
