  1. Anyone playing?

I haven't played one in a long time (bought it early on for the PS3), and bought 5 a few days ago.

Very similar stuff to the old ones, and I'm having trouble doing some of the combos. But so far, so good.

  2. I'm surprised this thread hasn't gotten more posts.

I finished (true ending) the other night, playing Leon first, then Claire.

Mr. X did his job, stressing me out. Definitely have to watch your ammo early on if you're trying to kill most of the zombies, but eventually, you have more than enough to spray bullets etc.

That full playthrough was a lot of fun, especially after not having played the original RE2. Great zombie sound effects, as mentioned above.

  3. I really need to update mine, as it's been years. Finding the necessary new roms and corrected ones feels like a daunting task these days...

But I love that the project lives on with update after update.

  4. I got Demon's Souls as soon as it came out and I read about the difficulty.. figured I hadn't played one quite like it before. I didn't stick with it as long as I should have, other multiplayer games got in the way.

When one of the Dark Souls games was a free Xbox Gold download, I played that one as well, but again, didn't stick with it. No real explanation why.

I do enjoy that games are still around that don't baby the player.

  5. I didn't say they were failing, I said they were dead last. Sorry, but third out of three does still qualify as last. Hey, combine them with nintendo, and I think combined they still only have like 20% of the market share.

?? Why do people associate not being first as failing?? This happens every generation.

You said both you "don't know how they're managing" (would you say that about a highly profitable company or division?) and "sounds like their (sic) trying to keep it afloat more than anything" (would you say that about a highly profitable company or division?)

So, no, you are correct, you did not say "failing".

  6. Xbl has been part of mobile for a while now, at least a year that I know of. Guess it's cool their going to switch, sorry but Nintendo's online service has in my experience sucked thus far (no switch experience/knowledge though)

Not sure how xbl is even managing now, being console wise dead last at the moment. Sounds like their trying to keep it afloat more than anything, not sure how the computer side works money wise, as I've never used it, though it's apparently there in quite a few games I have.

Geez, being third doesn't mean they're failing horribly. Just means they're third.

  7. You can make yourself feel better playing Speed Racer on C64.

You get separate scoring for angel (halos) and devil (horns) scoring, depending if you run into any innocent bystanders in the middle of the road (or grannies crossing the road).. and if you do, there's a large blood stain.

If you don't, you can rack up the halo points and bask in the glory of being a good person and driver.

  8. Lol. No. It's a great idea, don't get me wrong, lots (most?) People would love this, and that's why bc of any kind is always touted before a systems launch. It'll likely not happen, or suck, but we can still be delusional and hopeful.

On the next console not having an optical drive, I could see that on Xbox whateverthefuck comes after one (6? LOL) cause that's where Microsoft is trying hardcore to go, but ps4 is still doing great, mostly due to having actual games on the damn discs (unlike xbone) I could see them going to discs as a key next gen, but not medialess altogether.

Just tried searching PS4 digital vs physical sales. Looks like physical were down in 2018. Quarter ending March 2018, 43% of PS4 sales were digital. And growing. Don't see a totally up to date number, but saw revenue charts higher and higher closer to present day. Not sure why the reason Sony is still doing great is the physical media.
