  1. Why not make a new thread for your pickup lines and let this for sale thread be a for sale thread?
  2. Thanks. I figured basically $2 apiece wasn't too bad.. I knew they were common. Just looking for a good jumpstart to my collection. If any of you want to offer a game lot, I'll listen to anything, from a small lot to a near-complete collection! I'll edit my "wanted" post soon enough.
  3. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 150977620613 Is this a decent deal?
  4. Only took a quick look, and as I said, didn't get it to work. Thanks for the info. I'll try tonight.
  5. Normal threads, sure... this one just seemed special. So how bout that fiscal cliff?
  6. I'm sure there's tons of people who would say the same about the systems and games we collect..
  7. Thanks. Maybe I will do it, we'll see in the near future.
  8. I just found a boatload of EGM's, amongst other magazines, sitting in my parent's basement. A LOT, along with old SI's and Dragon magazines. I don't know EGM values, but I'd listen to an offer if there's something specific you want.
  9. I'm guessing your problem is with the Hammer Throw, but you say the Javelin Throw AND the Hammer Throw (toss). If it's the hammer, you'll notice it changes color at one point every time it hits a certain point, which is the correct time to press the button to release it. Of course, you need some momentum to throw it long enough, so it's tougher. And as with most things, an approximate 45 degree angle is what you want. I forget the specifcs of the high jump, but you press the button once, when close, release it, then I THINK you have to do that two more times during the jump. I'm sure the details are easily found in a search, I just can't remember.
  10. I was digging around my parent's basement more, and couldn't find my ColecoVision, but did find the rest of my C64c, and with it, my original Ultima IV box with seemingly everything in it. Very cool.
  11. She has some nice items. And yes, since I started with a small Sears collection, I want to try and add to it.
  12. That, and Off the Wall sounds awful familiar..
  13. But then I'LL have to try and find it somewhere! (I don't mean to derail an eBay thread, I'm just responding!)
  14. I'll have to brush up on Intellivision carts and their values/rarities, etc before I discuss any of that!
  15. Thanks for the link and the info. I (was) Intellivision-less, so I just bought that one. It's a good start, and I'm glad I finally registered here (and read a lot more) after years of just browsing here occasionally. Thanks!
  16. Thanks, the re-install helped. Threw a few games on there as a test. All I need now is to get the iCade working with it, which didn't happen yet...
  17. Is II less desirable than the original (I think yes, but not positive)? Is it worth getting at all?
  18. I have iTunes and that Mobile thing. I just completely uninstalled all Apple stuff from my pc, and re-installed current versions. Will see how that goes. Thanks.
  19. I'm far from an Apple guy, so maybe I'm missing something easy here... I downloaded the app on the wife's iPad, and downloaded iFunBox to do the dirty work. iFunBox doesn't recognize my iPad (nor my iPod, for that matter), no matter what I try... did searches, which only seem to mention downloading some afc2add thing.. Any help would be appreciated.
  20. That's an awful lot of positive feedbacks, but I guess anything can happen. Did you get your money refunded? I bought this myself on a whim before checking the legitimacy, so live and learn I suppose. We'll see if any work.
  21. Good info, thanks... I'm still learning...
  22. Thought maybe someone might be interested in this: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 130578861762
  23. I'm focusing on Intellivision and ColecoVision right now, so if you have any CIB/NIB game lots for sale, commons or rares, I'll listen to any and all.
