      Battery life is the one negative I see mentioned consistently about the SP3. Too bad, because they are darn sexy. I'd love to have one.

    ipad is ridiculous.. It doesn't allow you to transfer files to and from the PC without spending more money.

      I can't imagine using any wireless device without using the cloud. There are so many free options -- Google Drive, Skydrive, Box, Dropbox.

       

      If you're absolutely against cloud, there are apps you can get that let you transfer files to and from PC via wi-fi.

    Sometimes I wish I had a time machine to go back to the 80's. For me it was an idealistic time of no kids, no worries, no commitments, and endless time to do whatever I wanted. There was also something about seeing "READY" on the screen that just begged me to be creative and spend sleepless nights writing "just one more line" of a program. The start menu just isn't the same.
