  1. I found that big ST article! It was in Retro Gamer issue 105, there is interviews with with coders too and a big piece on Dungeon Master. RG also did an Amiga collectors guide too recently.
  2. I seem to remember that Retro Gamer magazine did a really nice article on the ST last year and they listed some games that were apparently better on the ST than the Amiga. I missed both these computers as I went from a Sega Master System to a Mega Drive but have been playing some of the classics via the wonders of emulation recently.
  3. I wish I could take the credit, I would never subject anyone to my face on a camera I can tell you!
  4. I actually just came across this very video and was going to post about it and another one I found but thought I better do a search first. You did a really good job with this Steve, there are some really bad Lynx vids on You Tube like that toolstyevski one (or whatever he is actually called), that one is a total embarrasment. Anyway this is the one I found, its a bit too long but very informative - dunno if this guy is a member here or not.
  5. I just picked up a copy of the new Atari User magazine and saw a very good review of this game in it! Has there been a cartridge release yet or is there any plan to do one, I would love to purchase one if there is.
  6. I downloaded these a while back. Choplifter and Chopper X are different games. Chopper X is like that old Chopper PC game where you use one button to maintain the height of your copter and not hit stuff while Choplifter is an early demo of Choplifter!
  7. Sorry if I am being thick but will this only work with the XM? What extra hardware is it using? Looks amazing BTW
  8. Is this going to be released on cart?
  9. Fair enough, I do agree that a lot of Lynx games lack good sound but if you take the best from the Lynx and compare it to the GG it blows it away IMO. And the GG has so few decent exclusives the machine is pretty pointless really ( I do own one) there is very little that can't be played on the Master System where you don't have to put up with that terrible screen.
  10. Its a handheld so doesn't have PAL or NTSC So no region issues at all. Are you mad? Lynx sound is far superior in my opinion, I have never heard the GG come close to putting out speech like Klax or music like Malibu Beach Volleyball. The GG does have more games but the Lynx has quality over quantity
  11. Don't think so but you can get digital versions of each mag much cheaper than print copies
  12. That's it! And I just looked for you, Jaguar version of Bubsy was featured in Issue 111.
  13. There is a big article on Bubsy The Bobcat in the new Retro Gamer mag if you are interested. There was also a bit about the Jaguar version in particular a few issues back.
  14. Not sure if its the same game but there is an Airball for the XL/XE and the ST
  15. Real shame would have liked to have seen this on a cart as well as your Peg Solitaire game.
  16. The mountain is missing from quite a few versions. It's such a shame that one of the best arcade games ever got such terrible home conversions in the most part. The best ones are easily the Lynx and Mega Drive versions. I bought the Lynx version brand new when it very first came out and still like it today. The 2600 and 7800 versions are decent considering the hardware but I do feel the 7800 version could have been even better. At least it follows the arcade game though unlike that terrible 1-player only NES abomination.
  17. I think you need to go and do some proper research. The Atari that are in bankruptcy don't own all the IP. Warner Bros own all the IP of Atari Games from 1984 right up to when they were closed down and absorbed into Midway. So you will need even more money if you want that IP too.
  18. There is a Wolf 3D demo on Songbird's Megapak 1 cart There is a video of it on You Tube too I think
