    I keep hearing commercials for new fries at Wendy's, but I thought their fries were already pretty good

      I haven't had Wendy's fries in a number of years, but when I did, no matter how hungry I was, I usually tossed them. I recall them being flavorless and not the right consistency when I bit through them, maybe like cold stale fries but not exactly. The golden age of fries was early 80's McDonald's fries. I'll still eat McDonald's fries today as they are reasonably tasty compared to their fast-food fry vending competition.

      I also felt that the previous fries were good.
      Different enough from other competitor's offerings, so I don't see the need for change.

      Feels like they're changing stuff just for the sake of making changes.

    My N64 S-video doesn't work anymore. It displays red and blue lines on either side of all objects. I wonder if some capacitor went bad, I don't know how to test for that stuff.

    Anyone else add extra toppings when you bake a frozen pizza? You should add extra minutes to the cooking time if you do it though.

      I would add extra shredded cheese to the frozen Tostinos party pizzas all the time!  Sadly I stopped buying them when they changed the packaging a few years back.  Heresy!

      It is a pain for me as I have some speakers for sale on the Marketplace. Other than flaky Craigslist, it is the only other site I have for online classifieds. Hopefully, the one guy got the number I sent him last night when he asked. It's a crap shoot either way.

      I don't think it's a big deal, certainly not worth replying to yourself twice after posting your status update complaining about it. There is a dedicated forum for site feedback, which is a more appropriate place to bring this up than posting a status update grousing about someone else posting more relevant status updates.

      In the winter when it's below zero, I hear loud thuds in the attic.  It's caused by thermal expansion.

      Mine is Odell. The elderly dude that lived in my house before me, passed away.

      I don't actually believe that, but there's definitely odd things that happen, doors opening, etc-we just say it's Odell, and let it go, if he's a spirit, he's not terribly mean or anything, so it could be worse.

      The source of the disturbance turned out to be a ceiling tile that fell out. I found it on the floor behind the tv when I was picking up around the house. I'm glad I found out what happened, it was driving me nuts.

      I really dug it!  Haven't seen it in a while.  I have it in the collection and should probably rewatch it soon..It's weird, dark, and deep, but I can barely recall a scene from it, yet based on something I read I believe I could give you a quick off the cuff synopsis that would make the whole thing make sense (sort of).  I could do that in a PM if you want after you've watched it.

      Loved Donnie Darko better than Ghost,  though I consider Ghost to be a Patrick Swayze movie so...   I'll now hang my head low as I haven't seen Dirty Dancing or Roadhouse, but I guess they're on my list.

    Most wasteful new thing: Klondike Shake. A silver mylar pouch, with a twist off plastic cap, and a built-in straw, plus the cardboard box they sell in. All for a couple swallows of half melted ice cream.
