  1. He bought a box full of cartridges. Not our first transaction, and I would have no trouble dealing with him again.
  2. Agreed to purchase some games and paid for them. Can't ask for more than that, would do business again!
  3. Bought games from me and was very nice. No problems.
  4. crazykong bought a ton of N64 games from me and paid promptly.
  5. widowsson bought a motherlode from me and paid in full with no problems.
  6. Bought a bunch of games from me, no problems and very nice.
  7. Be safe out there shopping this weekend. Bump.
  8. Yep, I agree, I once had the Nelsonic Tetris, and it played an amazing game of Tetris for how little it was. I'm pretty sure it was thrown away due to the buttons falling off (from playing it so much).
  9. I really miss my Nelsonic game watches! I'm liking the new Nintendo Game & Watch releases as a concept, especially the Zelda Game & Watch. I think it's smart for them to include an original LCD game with those. Is there any chance we could see some kind of Game Watch (not Game & Watch) compilation at some point? Either as a Game & Watch device, or even as digital content on modern consoles? Those old Nelsonic games were very good LCD games, especially the Zelda. Game Watches and Game & Watch are two distinctly different devices!
  10. It's only truly missing the babe in the red bikini. Gilius Thunderhead (Dwarf) is present riding the back of the giant, kind of like Master Blaster from Beyond Thunderdome.
  11. Got my X back. That's not a bad turnaround, barely 2 weeks total. I have no idea what was wrong with it, but now it is barely producing any heat at all. I remember before sending it out that the cooling fan was blowing hot air almost immediately after turning it on.
  12. Now I'll have to look, but I was thinking The Art Of Atari covered this facet of advertising a bit.
  13. The peddles are a separate module with a cable. I used some velcro to secure it a little bit to the riser.
  14. Doh, I just now realized that there's a sub-forum here: https://atariage.com/forums/forum/101-2600-connection-newsletter/ It's kind of in a section of the website that I don't often scroll down to.
  15. You're getting close to my collection that I casually obtained through garage sales and video game stores, and it took me 35 years. I had around 300 carts before selling.
  16. I'm not going to crap on Ebay. I would never have obtained the collection of video games that I own, if it wasn't for Ebay. It's been a great tool over the years. No one is forced to pay an 'ebay price'. I dislike local shops who expect to get the current hot prices and wait until you ask 'how much', then they say just a minute while looking up the item on Ebay. When I go into a game store, I expect the price up front, then I decide whether to buy or not. Waiting for me to inquire on the price is shady. I think overall Ebay is a valuable resource, I mean I had to use Price Charting (which uses Ebay) to determine fair value for my sale thread, I mean I don't know how else to do it.
  17. sdamike bought some expensive games from me, and was very easy to work with. No problems getting payment, and let me know when he received the package safely. Thanks again!
  18. Technologically speaking, Revenge of Death Adder isn't exactly up to spec for the Saturn, it's something more suitable to the 32X. I mean yeah, it would have been awesome on the Saturn, but Sega didn't port over Arabian Fight either, which IMHO would have been a good contemporary arcade showcase game on the system. I suppose another volume of Sega Ages could have been a nice option with the Golden Axe games.
  19. Just for reference: http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/ I also use https://www.arcadequartermaster.com/ for move lists and game instructions
  20. weekend bump Offer for the Atari 2600 package at $200 + shipping still on the table.
  21. I can't speak to your first question, but yes there are different scoreboards for default settings and 'any' setting.
  22. It looks like just all-time scores. You get to enter your own user name that appears on the leaderboard. You enter a bunch of info during setup, and then it saves everything from then on automatically.
  23. I assembled my Class of '81 today, and I must say it is indeed a very nice looking cab! The game selection is fantastic, I'll probably end up playing this more than I originally thought, especially since it has WIFI leaderboards, that is a sweet addition. I've never heard of Rompers or King and Balloon. I played both real quick, and they aren't bad, in fact King & Balloon is a nice Galaxian variant and hard as nails too like the others. Rompers is some kind of Pac-Man maze game, it appears to be the most advanced game on this cabinet, technologically (graphically) speaking.
