  1. I saw that was the cheapest version but I don't have a PS3. I considered buying one, but it would be more overall cost than just buying the DC version. I don't feel like having another console around.
  2. Just got this game recently, and wow is it good. Totally addictive, but it's really difficult. Love the explosions!
  3. Bump, just cleaned up the OP a bit. No new items listed. Thank you everyone.
  4. Good to hear Hydro Thunder! BTW did you try Major Havoc yet? I played it again and mine uses the trackball for control on that one, just to verify what I said earlier. I'm still waiting on my T2 cab, haven't had any shipment notifications yet.
  5. If I could ask Chef Ramsey one question, I would ask him to help me cook fish, because I really suck at it.

  6. I'm sure most of us are anticipating commentary about the quality of the pedals.
  7. I love my video games too, and I've had/have a very nice collection that has grown for some 30+ years. I love my games more than any normal man should. Say what you want, it's all just plastic and silicon, but I've taken care of my belongings, these things that I love. I would never stack up my game collection like cars are piled up in a junkyard. You can have your opinion of my comment, but my home would never have a room that a raccoon would find shelter in, especially out of my most prized and cherished possessions like my video games. I've managed to build a great collection and take care of it at the same time, all these years, all on a very meager hourly wage factory job. (money has nothing to do with cleanliness) If you thought it was rude or not nice, so be it, I just called it as I saw it with that first picture. It doesn't mean the OP isn't a nice fella.
  8. I keep hearing commercials for new fries at Wendy's, but I thought their fries were already pretty good

I haven't had Wendy's fries in a number of years, but when I did, no matter how hungry I was, I usually tossed them. I recall them being flavorless and not the right consistency when I bit through them, maybe like cold stale fries but not exactly. The golden age of fries was early 80's McDonald's fries. I'll still eat McDonald's fries today as they are reasonably tasty compared to their fast-food fry vending competition.

I also felt that the previous fries were good.
Different enough from other competitor's offerings, so I don't see the need for change.

Feels like they're changing stuff just for the sake of making changes.

  9. I'm talking about an extra outer plain cardboard cover. For instance, I recently bought a Ninja XL grill, and even though it was a big box with the original packaging, it was still sheathed with another layer of plain cardboard for shipping reasons, plus it adds discretion. The only purpose the flashy box serves after purchase is to show everyone in the delivery chain, and everyone walking or driving by your house, exactly what you've got.
  10. I do wish Arcade1UP would ship with an outer, plain cardboard box covering the entire thing, not to protect the printed cardboard for collector reasons, but for a discreet shipping process. Because, when mine arrive, they sit in my driveway for a few hours for the entire world to see.
  11. Hard to ask people to remember that kind of specificity circa 1990.
  12. I've had the pleasure of playing an original with just buttons here at a local arcade in the US. I love the music, such a catchy tune, and the Hanna Barbera cartoon I also have the 1st season on DVD. Always loved Pac-Land.
  13. I managed to sell some old furniture and odds and ends that I didn't need to completely clear out the arcade room for nothing but my home arcade! Now, I've got all the space I need, and instead of having all my machines tightly packed, I've spread them out so I can enjoy the cabinet artwork and have plenty of 'elbow room' in case some friends come over. Eventually, I will squeeze them together again if I get enough cabs, but for now I like the spread out version of the game room. As you can see, I have a nice sweet middle section that my T2 will find a home, and maybe a pinball or Golden Tee Oh yea, I did some redecorating with posters too. Here's the Left, Middle, and Right sides:
  14. Oh my, that new Ragu commercial is hilarious. "Cook like a Mother"

  15. With the Tiger on the artwork, and Tiger in the title, one would not be blamed for thinking CATRIDGE was not an accidental typo.
  16. Nevermind, I found a boot disc that does what I want.
  17. Made a large deal with @atari181. No problems, very nice.
  18. Can I somehow get Japan games to work on a US console without modding? There's some really nice looking shmups I'd like to try, but I only have a basic US console.
  19. All I know is I gave up trying to fix these a long time ago and just forked over the money for the new circuits plus the gold dot pads and haven't had a problem since, at least 15 years at this point. You have to have the gold dot pad replacements, otherwise the carbon just builds up again.
