Yes and no. In this case its not even a definition thing, its just a fact: The Re-Release is licensed and official. There is no discussion about that. Its pretty disrespectful towards BSR if you pretend its less worth or not a real deal. It is a real deal, deal with it if you have a 1k bucks game in the shelf which you could have get for a lot less now Personally I hope the price of Spiker plummets.

Fun fact: If you dont count Re-Releases you have no complete collection of you have Super Series Big League Baseball as your only variation of the game. I think that underlines why this makes no sense. Edit: And as I said some time ago: The official and legitimate Re-Release of Spiker will be MUCH, MUCH, MUCH more rare than the Release back then. So as a real collector I like rare things more than expensive things. And please dont forget, I own the old Spiker, so I am not biased to be a "real" collector with the Re-Release, nor I am considering to trade the old for the new one, I will put both in my shelf.

For me statements like that are elitist nonsense. @Intymike I really dont care and if I read here that some people really try to exclude Intellivision Inc versions the whole "real collector" thing reached a new level of ridiculousness

If we count out Re-Releases, I wonder how many Platinum Member would be left, because some may (I am for sure) have the 125 with INTV Inc versions and they are also Re-Releases.

It clearly qualifies to be in the 125 "Club". The club was created for people who have all official released games CiB. That is the platinum level. There is no "variation" Level, so you do not need the rarest version of the game, just an official version. This release is official. Its from the owners of the trademark. So if you are currently at 124 go for it and feel complete. No need to think otherwise. And I am technically member of the 125 Platinum Club, pics are all online just never submitted to Rev, so its no wishful thinking to sneak in, its my honest opinion. Edit: And fun fact: The new release is probably much more rare than the original one

As far as I know KotM will be complete and the first official release. As a gamer it would be wasting money to overpay for the Intelligentvision Version right now.

As far as I noticed the actual game quality depends on the publisher. On the Intellivision I am pretty sure Elektronite is the best average quality and I would say they often go to the limits of the console.

Looks like a scam. First: 2 of 4 are officially opened despite the title, but the Computer Module, which is claimed to be unopened, seems opened as well. Look at the 5th picture. I would not spend more money as for normal used stuff and probably just stay away, because its very fishy.

He isnt a guy who does something, he just uses the work of others to resell it. So I guess he just bought this box, of course much cheaper, from someone else. And I am completely with BBWW. Just check out the Ebay pics, they are much better to see what I am talking about. The coating has flaws and is torn.

I wouldnt call that nowadays standards, the game of Kai are outstanding in my opinion and raised the bar by a lot. If that is the standard there are just a hand full of games hit this standard.

You point out what I said. It was in a time when much heat was around, because the whole "new game" thing got out of control. @nanochess Havent played it enough, but first impression was not overwhelming. It got a lot hype out of the situation back then and even I voted it to the GotY, caused by my grieve towards Elektronite back then and the situation that my vote could lose them the GotY title. Pretty sad move from my side and even more sad if you look at the whole story and how it turned out. All in all its quite simple: The game came out long after the announced and paid games should have been released and somebody was bragging all over the place that he could get a GotY done in two weeks. Unfortunately thats everything he got done in all the years. So sorry, but I really can not celebrate this piece of software for anything else than beeing a piece of the dark past of the Intellivision-homebrews. Yeah, I definitely could sell it, but I wont do this for 30 bucks, because its the shizo situation I live in as a collector. 30 bucks seems not worth to get rid of a hard to come by game. So I just put it in the dark corner of my shelf, as a memorial to not follow every hype and be more critical about supporting some projects. And as some may know I am no reseller-Dude, so selling it with much profit is just not my way of collecting.

Box looks like crap quality. Ooof, if the sound hasnt changed a lot it sounds even worse than the box quality looks I have to wash the blood out of my ears.

I have everything, but I am not sure if Tattoos were included. To be honest, I I'd knew who the programmer was I never would have bought it. So its kind of the shame corner in my shelf. Its ironic that it was a game to criticize cash grabbing and was programmed by one of the biggest cash grappers the community had seen so far Edit: I checked it and its lust the cart, the bag, the small piece of paper and the lolly. No Tattos were included in my copy, because I am 100% sure I just opened the bag to take out the cart and closed it right away.

Will the price be normal about 60-70ish $ or much higher, because its Spiker?

I finished it right now and its as good as I hoped it to be. Great game! I am looking forward to get my hands on the physical copy for my collection. As I said before its the best game for this console for me.
