I liked the fact that PS2 CAN play PS1 titles, and that is the only real reason that I still buy PS1 games, is knowing that I'm not going to have to unplug anything. I have about 20 games.

Enjoy it, it's a kickass game.

The most I can remember was close to 8 hours, but I have had MANY 6 hour gameplays (over 50, easily)

Oh yes, I know. I eventually want to get them, and if I can get them right off the bat, its all the better. Also, I'm not looking for complete, but its a plus.

I'm intrested in getting back into the glory that is the SNES. I want a system, all the hookups and 2 controllers. It can be yellowing or not, as long as it works I dont mind. The few games I had in mind were Super Mario Mario All-Stars Star Fox Pilot Wings Megaman X (any) Top Gear 2 I'd like to buy the system at atleast a couple games from one person, unless someone has ALL of those games and would sell them. I was thinking in the $30-40 range, but I really have no idea if thats fair or not. Thanks! -Ryan

Based on that, it made it seem like you didn't have one, or completely forgot what it looks like. The D-Pad is there, nothing was said about if the games use it or not. Area 51. Yeah, I bought that, but I didn't list it on my list of games. Why? Because no guncon works with it. I think the reason you cant use any kind of gun for it is because the game was out before any gun for the system was out. A big dissapointment, as I spent a hard earned $5 on it. Oh well.

Uh... I dont think you actually HAVE a GC2, because the gun is totally different. It has a D-Pad on it for cryin out loud! As for the issue, I have never actually tried to mix and match, but I'll try it out for you tomorrow. While were at it, lets post what Lightgun games we have. PS1 Pointblank 2 Time Crisis: Project Titan PS2 Time Crisis 2 Time Crisis 3 Vampire Night I think thats all of them. I hope to get Crisis zone soon, but I cant find a copy in stores without the guncon.

I have Vampires, and I say that its a cool game. Get it. I hear Pacific Assult sucks from a few reliable friends.

This is the kind of person that comment was said to. People who have never even played the game, but if attempted, would fail miserably. Its not about 'Teaching Dancing' just the same as FPS arent about 'Teaching Killing People'. While it is called DDR, its not REALLY dancing, its a game where you press arrows in rythm to a beat, and just making more songs and more steps make the game more intresting and therefore never gets old. Its also a great workout. And who the hells cares if you look stupid doing it. You dont look cool taking out the trash or mowing the lawn, so deal with it.

Well, there have been a lot more than 15 of them, and that's just one series! Konami's Bemani series of games incorporates a lot more than DDR... Drummania, Beatmania, Guitar Freaks, etc. And that's just Konami! I can see why people would be tired of the genre in general. But I don't see the big deal in putting Mario in a DDR game. On the other hand, it would probably be better if Nintendo could get a real DDR on one of their systems, for once. Bah, using resources against me. I know there are a bunch, but most of them arent that different. I dont concider Beatmania, Guitar Freaks ect as dancing games, because they arent, they are music/rythm games. If you want to get really technical, I could find the list of all the DDR knockoffs, but that would be overkill. I didn't mean to come off as a personal attack, Stingray, and I can understand that not everyone finds the games fun.

I really dont understand people who say things like "Not another dancing game!". First off, there has not even been 15 of them. They basically began in '98, so they arent "Old" by any meaning of the word. RPGs, FPSs, Puzzlers, Shumps, Fighters, Sports games Plus just about EVERY other genre has existed MUCH longer. Just because a game brings something new to gaming, and it is such a simple idea is no reason to get sick of them. God firbid people are actually up and moving while playing a game. And people who say 'Why do we need more?', its because the game is basically endless. New music, new steps, anything else can be added to the gameplay. Those who are sick of dancing games must not have been gamers for very long. /End Rant Anywho, I think that this will be very similar to the Disney Mix, in that the songs will be really simple, and not all that great sounding. But, there isnt much info on it, so this is just an early speculation of mine.

Just what the topic says. I thought I had it, turns out that I dont. Because the new ZSNES was released I want to play it all translated all the way through, but I need the game to do so. If this is 'naughty' then mods can delete, otherwise HELP!

The only problem I have with the Ms.Pac-Man (I actually just picked it up today) is that for it to really work well, it needs to be placed on a table or something. I cant hold that and work my magic without it moving all over the place. It also would have been nice if the buttons were on the other side, but oh well.

I'll admit that I downloaded this and stuck it on my iPod. If it does get a US release, I'm buying it, because it was BAD ASS. That is all.

I liked X7, and come x-mas, I can tell you if X8 is any good. I kinda thought the RPG MM games were pretty dull, because they are all pretty much the same damn game, just 40 different versions (Talking about the GBA games)

This game kicks ass. My brother just bought it, and I have been playing it for a good 4 hours. While I don't really like the new music (mainly because its the same 30 or so second clip every time. ughh) the 'Thuggification' really isn't that much of a problem. It's still the same enjoyable game, just a lot more violent.

Ok, today is the day. If any of you decide to come last minute, we wouldn't mind. I'll be wearing my Aqua Teen shirt, so if you see me, come introduce yourself. I remember meeting a few of you at the last meet, so it will be nice to see some familiar faces!

Ok, so, twisting it is supposed to eject the disc, correct? While a stupid idea, you really have to try and do it while playing. It takes the guy in the video a few seconds of twisting for it to work. Eh, I guess I'll know when I have it in my hands.
