    It's true. This was the note sent after they refunded my payment. "Thank you for your PayPal payment dated 12-0-3-13 Bill. Got a note from our Atari accounting department Bill. They said you paid thru the normal PayPal payment method and not the Gift / Friend method. So they said they refunded back your PayPal payment. Regards, Bradley Koda"

    I didn't say that they asked me to send a gift. I said that they refunded my PayPal Payment because I didn't mark it as a gift.

    I paid for an order during PayPal's 5% discount promo but they refused payment because I didn't mark it as a gift. Not that I would have repaid but if I had, I wouldn't get the 5% discount because they refused payment ater the promo expired. I haven't bought from them since then.

    I have a 2600 and a 7800 console which have seen better days. My 2600 was left on the floor one day and at least one of our cats sprayed it. It does work, but the picture is very snowy. My 7800 was bought on ebay a few months ago and I thought it was in good shape, so I didn't bother testing it. I needed the box today, so I took the console out and noticed a lot of jingling I didn't hear before. I am now certain it was damaged during shipping. Can someone recommend a good place in Canada where I can get these fixed?

    In that case, maybe the first 88 PAL orders and first 12 NTSC orders since then should get the first crack at one of the extra boxes.

    It's fair to give them the option to buy a box first. They don't have to buy one if they don't want one. Also, weren't the boxes originally offered to NTSC and PAL orders?

    Thanks for the clarification. BTW, I too think it's fair to offer the boxes to the first 100 cartridge and manual only orders after the boxed version was sold out.
