  1. Depends massively whether it's PAL or NTSC, PAL can be bought for a couple of £s in the UK.
  2. It's annoying more than anything and she only lives 5 miles away, can't believe anyone get's that wound up about £3!!
  3. That's what i thought, i was going to tell her to send the item back recorded delivery which pretty much covers her winning bid anyway and as i understand it you only have to refund the winning bid and not the p&p anyway.
  4. Help me out here, i sold an Intellivision game nearly a month ago and listed it as 'untested' as that was genuinely the case, 3 and a half weeks later (after positive feedback had been left both ways) the buyer says they want a refund as it doesn't work!! I've told them politely to go away as the total value was less than £3 ($6), they've now said they are reporting me to ebay for my attitude!! Any ideas where i stand as it's more the principle of the thing than anything as i've always refunded for damaged or, more recently, a wrongly region coded DVD. Surely ebay won't chase me for the £3 will they, i hate people with bad attitudes as much as the next seller and have high 900 feedback and 99.6% positives.
  5. No problems here either in the UK.
  6. Agreed, i always post recorded, saves a lot of hassle. I'd put it down to experience and refund the buyer.
  7. I agree with every point you make, i didn't want to appear argumentative though but i can't believe for a second that was sealed in '77 or '78 and had '79 items inside, it's impossible.
  8. It turns up more often than a lot of others, i got my boxed one cheap and there's another here.
  9. Pipster and I have been posting proof of this for ages now. There should be little doubt about it. I don't really collect 2600 stuff, but I have three of them now. I think we can be pretty certain they are genuine, the serial numbers are too close to be a coincidence. I have 2 by the way and both are boxed... #70039 deathtrappomegranate- #70457 Pipster #75127 Ebay (posted by Pipster)[/size] #79533 Pipster #80088 Mimo originally on Ebay (posted by Pipster) #80026 chubsta no chnnel select switch, no FCC declaration on sticker #80252 Ebay (posted by izzy) #80473 deathtrappomegranate-
  10. It's not, all boxes had the same picture.
  11. Been after it for ages, Basketball is another tricky one to find.
  12. I wish there were a few more, the ones i've seen sell have gone for quite a few quid, more than Vanguard i would have said.
  13. Try Vanguard:http://www.atarimania.com/zoom_frame.php?T...amp;NUM_IMAGE=0 What about 32 in 1 boxed, surely that is the rarest?
  14. This auction has a couple of nice games but on no account will the seller ship anything abroad, seems stupid to me but there you go, so if you're in Australia feel free to let me have them cheap if you win the auction.
  15. Nice to see a proper one for once although i have 2 PAL units with the chess piece box so they do exist, also, does it have any mention of Cherry Leisure anywhere? The box or PSU.
  16. This looks like a pirate to me so where did he get his description from?
  17. Not exactly a fair price but seeing as everybody moans about having to buy on ebay any idea where you can get cheaper rarer games if you're going to tell the seller he's not charging enough?
  18. I can't see how you'll benefit in the long run, he's going to check all his Atari games on ebay now and bamg goes your cheap 5s or 6s.
  19. and if the seller thinks they have got a good price what's the problem? Ultimately the seller will only end early if he is happy with the deal and he saves his fees, what's the opposite of 'caveat emptor'?
  20. As long as the seller thinks they got a good deal does it really matter? If i was selling something and received an offer i'd always have a second look at what i was selling, i think it's up to the seller to check whether something they are selling is valuable.
  21. Surely the whole point of visiting these shops is in case of a bargain otherwise you may as well just stick to ebay and not bother?
