  1. Well it's good to know i wasn't the only one, i still occasionaly kid myself i'm the only one who's seen something good as i'm sure the rest of you do. It seems the only way to get anything good on ebay is by a side deal or a cheap 'buy it now'.
  2. Everything seemed to be going well till i just reread it, it seems the 2 Video Gems titles are no longer included, anyone here get them? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A:IT&ih=018 Just sent him an email scaring him that were worth 50 quid a piece( i know they're not, i got all mine for less than 10 each), lets see if they reappear with a stupid price.
  3. Looks good but the only way to confirm it as an original PAL unit is by the sticker.
  4. Mayhem must have really wanted this.
  5. Could be somebody opening another account and doesn't want anyone knowing he paid that much.
  6. Does yours have an '11' on the side of the outer box?
  7. The big outer box itself wasn't gatefold, just numbered and with a hangy thing on the top for shop displays. Here's my one although it was PAL and didn't come with the gatefold inner box strangely, got a numbered PAL Video Olympics in the same lot.
  8. Brazil uses the ***ULTRA RARE*** PAL-M standard which is actually a variant of NTSC (uses the same broadcast bandwidth, frame rate, and number of lines as NTSC, but uses PAL encoding). Their DVD's and games are NTSC. Just beat me..this explains it.
  9. I saw that when he first listed but it appears he's put it up at a more sensible price.
  10. There's a couple of boxed ones on here complete with stickers, maybe he'll post them on here, anybody got anymore?
  11. Australia is the place to look Chubsta, that's where i've got all my rarer games from.
  12. I don't think i've ever seen a CIB Video Gems title on ebay in the last few years, i have 3 loose and they are the only ones i've seen come up..........not to say others haven't of course. P.s. The other titles in the pic are PAL unless obviously not.
  13. Ah, i live in an average sized town (Maidenhead, if you're interested) and have about 5 travel agents and 2 post offices to choose from, all 0% commision.
  14. I've never been charged for changing currency, where did you go? The Post Office is free for a start.
  15. It's not finished yet!! How can it be too good to be true? It might end at $200.
  16. I don't think I'd go that far. Can't be that many sealed silver boxes out there, have you seen another?
  17. Whatever someone is willing to pay i guess, post in the Marketplace and see what happens, you should get a few good offers.
  18. 'If' that is the actual item and sealed then it would sell for an extremely good price, where did you get it from?
  19. A photo would make that sound a whole lot more believable as the the silver writing on the boxes were the absolute very first.
  20. Or not. Trust me they are shite, in particular the Parcelforce branch of the Post Office. This week i missed a delivery on Wednesday so rebooked for Friday, took the day off work and surprise, surprise it didn't even get loaded on the vehicle!! Promised delivery Saturday morning by the branch manager and again it didn't leave the depot, spoke to the bloke there this morning and apparently "it's not my problem, i only answer the phones". Reported the depot and manager to head office this morning, a complete waste of time. Last time i had a problem with them i received 2 attempted delivery cards, arranged a delivery date, waited in and amazingly the track & trace said "unable to find address" at the end of the day, seemed to find it alright when there was nobody in. Have a look here for other horror stories, i'm amazed these companies are allowed to operate like this. What's it like in the US? Again, always send recorded.
  21. Always send stuff recorded, it's not much more than standard and you pass the cost on anyway.
  22. Here you go..... 1st pic is a Heavy Sixer (curved moulding) 2nd is a Heavy Sixer full view (thicker moulding on the sides) and lastly is a normal Sixer for comparison.
