About Me
Hey all! Ashley here, and I have been a gamer since it's infancy, in the 70's!
My very first home video game system was the Atari 2600, but my heart has always belonged to Mattel Intellivision. I always had a fascination with that system, and I still do to this day.
In fact, ever since Mattel Electronics threw their hat into the ring against Atari, I have always had a soft spot for the underdog system in any console war!
On Christmas Eve in 1983, my Mom allowed us to open our Christmas presents early, and behold! Under the tree was a brand new Intellivision II. Needless to say that once my Mom gave me permission to use it that night, I played my very first all-night gaming marathon, which consisted of becoming an expert at Burgertime!
I was also there for the Great Video Game Crash in the 80's, and it was a sad time for an avid gamer like me. While I completely understood why it happened [and I am convinced that it is destined to happen again], I was bummed out that my Intellivision was being discontinued by Mattel, and then eventually by INTV Corp.
Currently, I own Atari 2600, Mattel Intellivision, Commodore 128D, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, Sega 32X, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, and Microsoft Xbox. I also have the Sega Nomad and game.com handheld systems too.
I am a die-hard video game collector, and have many games for the above systems, including many import games. In fact, I currently have all games released in the United States for Intellivision, game.com, 32X, Saturn, Dreamcast, and Xbox. But I am always looking to update my import and home-brew collection
You can check me out on my new video game reviews show, "Bottoms 1-Up." The link to the pages are here.

I'll see you all on the gaming grid, programs!
