I remember reading this thread but the one I was trying to recall had mentioned theloon's example (or demo) that the player moved around rooms and the playfield had 3 interchangeable pieces top, center, and bottom maybe his WIP Rogue engine I think.
I can't recall where I was reading this but the topic discussed was about writing chunks of data to replace a piece of playfield. The new thing mentioned replacing a routine the loon made for drawing pieces of playfield.
hello i was trying build 558, windows on checking for a fragmented disc at power-up time wiped out all of my files from games added while in the 558 environment but left the earlier files from 554 alone..
the DPC+ kernel been out (for what years now?) why isn't it "stickied" along side of the 1.0 release? is anyone on here using 1.0 anymore?(maybe why my superchip question has no replies)
