Anybody know what it should cost to have a small area of clear-coat fixed if the paint underneath is okay?

Depends on where it is. Door, fender, hood or trunk, the whole panel will be redone. Roof or rear quarters can be blended into existing clear but not really the best way to do it

A spot on the roof that was worn.
Correct way is to do the whole roof. Basically, if the clear is gone or peeling, it's not going to stop. Probably 500-700 to do the whole roof.
