Is it possible to hook up an atari 2600 to a Mac computer without modifications? If not, what mods or alternatives can I make to play my atari on my Mac without using an emulator?

All of the games have to originally be made by atari as they were with nintendo in the nintendo world championships. I say Save 5 or so humans for Defender, Roll Space Invaders as fast as possible, and play through Breakout for as 5 minutes ( or as long as the game takes the person, no one can play breakout forever because it is so difficult, like Tetris) -

MB Flight Commander & Cosmic Commander Controls?
Botbird208 replied to OldSchoolRetroGamer's topic in Atari 2600
The cosmic commander was supposed to work with Milton Bradley's Survival Run. I know at one point I saw an ad with it in inside. Also, Nice and Games has a video where he discusses the cosmic commander controller. I believe that there's a link to that ad in that video. -

Battlezone. Ill get a pic up later. I want to get it off my new flashback 64 as an excuse to use it. -
how much do soldering irons cost? My tech teacher at school also said we might learn how to solder, but we probably wont learn.

The paddle is working now. I accidentally dropped it and it was working for 2 days, so I think that the pot may have been in an odd position. Also, I'm 13. I probably shouldn't be soldering. You can check my profile to see. Btw, thanks a whole lot for the help. I really appreciate it.

I dont know how to solder. Trust me, it might take till the weekend, but Ill eventually show a vid to show you guys what happens.

Season 3 / Week 5 ~ The NEW HSC ~ Rock Week

Mbothelo, Not trying to be an annoyance but I saw that you score matched the score you had for the 2600 challenge on youtube just a couple of days ago, before this challenge was made. Just sayin, all scores submitted in the 2600 HSC have to be scores you made this week, not in the past. -
theres this guy in the 2600 Hsc who has the world record kill screen for this game. His name is NorthCoastGamer. He might know. Theres a video of NorthCoastGamer (Jeff Adkins) getting the kill screen. Both parts are an hour long total, but it might reveal something. I havent actually checked Btw, thats only the first part.

Season 3 / Week 5 ~ The NEW HSC ~ Rock Week

Exactly... His input was put on the Taz eastereggs to make it seem as though his score was legit! He also said in the taz Hsc that there must be 2 versions of taz and that the 1984 version scored differently. the Taz thing on 2600 connection was made after that HSC because in that Taz section they have a link leading to the taz HSC. Something I forgot to mention: There have also been HSC's, such as the one with cosmic ark, where Todd Rogers scored exactly 400000. Exactly. He mustve used some editor with that.

I guess I can make a vid to show you. wait till the weekend.

After some searching, I found that There is a website called 2600 connection with a section for easter eggs, with todd rogers name linked to a good amount of them. http://www.2600connection.com/eastereggs/eastereggs.html Now, a long while ago, Todd Rogers posted a supposedly bogus score on Taz in the 2600 HSC. the highest score, based on the scoring system, was 999500. TR had gotten 999900, which many said was impossible. TR explained by saying he had "a rare 1984 release" which had "a different scoring system." The HSC people probably started to make him angry because noone could find a rom for this 1984 release, and they kicked Todd Rogers out. TR hasnt been in the HSC. Again, back to 2600 connection, I went to the Taz eastereggs and found that someone put a a fact that stated "2 known versions of this game exist, including a rare 1984 release..." and there was a link right there in that section to Hsc club week 16, where TR was "banned", so you have got to think TR wrote that to make his fake score sound legit. Note: TR's name wasnt associated with that fact as it was with other easter eggs... there was no name to go with it. So, what do you think? Cover up or legit?

So, yesterday I popped in kaboom and I reset the game, and as soon as I reset it the bombs started falling although I hadnt even touched the controller. They fell till I lost all of my buckets, and I couldn't control a thing. no matter how far I spun the knob, the paddles were still stuck on the right side of the screen. Then I found out if I pressed the button, the paddle instantly zoomed from the right side to the left side of the screen, and when I released the button they instantly went back. Every once in a while they would work, but only when the wire was in a certain position. Both of the paddles have been cleaned the "permanent way" in the past, so they work smoothly. Btw, the second paddle works without flaw, so I find this very weird. Plz help!!!
