Because lawyers like to make money writing up complicated contracts.

Roku currently has license on it for their streaming service, so if you have that you're in luck. If you want it on hulu you'll have to wait for that deal to expire.

Godspeed  Cafeman!  You'll be back before ya know it!   (Back?   Hehaaa...Wasn't intentional, but when I read it back to myself...Whoa I did it again...) ;)

Heh heh it is indeed funny. Surgery was successful, now recovering and still feeling a little high from the pain medicine.  Took muscle relaxer so I'll probably be knocked out in 10 minutes!

  3. Lower back pain for over a month now, not getting better on its own.  Like a knife in my lumbar region. Walking around  hunched over at times like a cliche old man! Not sure how this happened but the sedentary stay at home lifestyle, and sitting for a living at work, probably the reasons. Looks like i need to get physical therapy in the middle of this pandemic.

Sorry to hear it.  I'd definitely consult a doctor, get PT if needed,...A guy I used to work with had back pain and said CBD Oil was the cure for him.

Yeah i had an MRI scan done and they found a bulged disc. The stabbing pain which makes it feel very fragile is from the disc pushing on a nerve. Move in the wrong direction and feels like someone is inserting the knife. The injection i had helped bring down the swelling and this allows the disc to re-seat because the inflammation goes down. Problem is whether you have medical insurance because i hear they can cost a bit. Mine was covered by workcover. Sad thng is with the pain still there however not extreme the GP says it's a forever weakened area and is more likely to happen again. Im still waiting for the virus stuff to die down before they continue further with PT. Good luck, i know how uncomfortable and agonizing it can be mate

Good luck with that. I have an extra vertebrae in the lumbar area that partially fused on right side.

  4. Is there an existing program for A8 development that takes text (as in dialogue/sentences) and converts into the hex codes (Atascii charset codes I assume?)  to store in your ASM program in tables?

For example I enter "the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog." and it spits out something like this:

    .byte $34,$68,$65,$00, ....  ?

Doesn't your cross assembler accept text strings as it is? From what I understand, the text portion of ATASCII is the same as plain ASCII.

Ok never mind the question, even TASM has a Text support, I just never used it.

The BYTE directive allows a value assignment to the byte pointed to by the current Instruction Pointer. The format is:
[label] .BYTE expr [, expr ...]
Only the lower eight bits of expr are used. Multiple bytes may be assigned by separating them with commas or (for
printable strings) enclosed in double quotes. Here are some examples:
       label1
       .byte "Hello", 10, 13, "World"
